Im giving my opinion on about the logic and storyline altogether. But first, let me rate it element-wise. Visuals and Animation - 9/10 Music/Sounds - 10/10 Storyline - 9/10 Speaking logically, the overall story of Hello World makes no definite sense. Basically the ALLTALE is a device which is capable of recording anything in general from time/reality/souls. The main idea is about a guy going through these "records" in his world in order to go to a recorded past and alter the future altogether to retrieve the data or "soul" of a person and bring it back to his world. (Take note that the record is a SIMULATION WHICH HE ALTERS) One of the major flaws is that in the world of where he went to (or the world where the younger Kitagaki is at) another ALLTALE is present. However, it is shown later that also the older Kitagaki is in a "simulation" himself. Which means that theyre practically in an endless loop; HOW IS IT THAT THE OLDER KITAGAKI WAS ABLE TO DO ACTIONS ACCORDING TO HIS OWN FREE WILL. The ALLTALE will have face an error whenever data is different or MANIPULATED. So how is the older Kitagaki only affected at the end? -It makes no sense at all. (This is just ONE of the MAJOR FLAWS, this film has soooo many flaws but im too lazy to write them all down) Dont get me wrong, aside from all the flaws this Movie is amazing. It would have done better as a series instead so ALLLLLLLLL details could be filled. Im honestly disappointed at how they approached the storyline of the film but its aspects are definitely breathtaking. I loved the animation, sounds, etc.
Basically, the ending scene explained everything, though. "Ichigyou (Adult; from the ending scene)" and the brain 'dead, "Naomi (Adult; recovered from the coma)", they were the ones who's literally living the, "REAL WORLD!)" As such, It's true that, "Ichigyou (Adult; from the Real World)" 'did get struct by Lightning and fell into coma! But I think, within those countless attempts of, "Naomi (Adult; Real World)" after the last attempt, somehow successfully save, "Ichigyou (Adult; Real World)" but in return, it causes him (Naomi) to be in the same situation as her (Ichigyou) and fell into, "Coma!" Now, given the current / present timeline, "Ichigyou (Adult; Real World)" most likely's now the one who's in the same situation as, "Sensei (Adult Naomi; 10 Years from the Future)" With that, this only means that the separate world of, "Naomi (Young; 2027)" is just a, "VIRTUAL WORLD (Simulated World from, "ALLTALE")" created either by the team of, "Ichigyou (Adult; Real World)" or by Ichigyou herself? That's why, ever wonder, what's with the, "Crow?" "God's Hand?" And how in the hell it works? The answer is pretty simple! It's because the power of that gloves is just a part of "Illusion" from that said, "VIRTUAL WORLD!" In addition, the reason why the, "Crow (God's Hand)" kept helping and guiding, "Naomi (Young; 2027)" until the end, simply because that, "Crow!" Is actually, "Ichigyou (ADULT FROM THE REAL WORLD!)" Also, remember "Sensei? (Adult Naomi from 10 Years from the Future)" He said that they can access the, "ALLTALE" and create any, "Illusion" they want or change their, "Avatar!" as long as it's not that, "Complex!" That's why in this case, "Ichigyou (Adult; Real World)" chose a, "Crow!" As her Avatar or Character! Lastly, if you go back from the start, you can see the, "Crow's (Feather)" somewhat, following, "Naomi (Young; 2027)" and even at the last scene, when Naomi and Ichigyou has finally managed to go back to their respective world; from that very scene, 'during their kissing scene, you can see the, "Gloves (God's Hand)" on Naomi's Hand, as well as the, "Crow's Feather" on Ichigyou's Cloak, slowly but surely 'disappearing! Why is that? What 'does it mean? Is there any reason for that? And so with that, it only means that, "Ichigyou (Adult; Real World)" has finally completed her goal! Yay, In other words, even from the very start, "Ichigyou (Adult; Real World)" represent herself from that, "Crow!" Helping and guiding, "Naomi (Young; 2027)" from the adversity he might encounter and from the sole purpose of completing her single mission! "TO SAVE THE BRAIN DEAD NAOMI FROM THAT RECORDED WORLD!" Now then, with that! I guess it's pretty much clear now! I mean, there's no way in hell that kind of power actually works in, "REAL WORLD", right!? That's why after the ending scene, I safely assumed that the world of, "Naomi (Young; 2027)" is just indeed in the, "SIMULATED WORLD!" It's just a, "REVERSED SITUATION OF SAVING! (or something like that?)" So yeah, that's it! This is just my opinion, though? I just stick with this theory, for a peace of mind, based from what I've understood so far since the story is kind of complex, but amazingly good!

So yeah, that's it! This is just my opinion, though? I just stick with this theory, for a peace of mind, based from what I've understood so far since the story is kind of complex, but amazingly good!
