Silvestrig - Devon's Tune of the Day 065

I'm heading to Kenmore tonight for the Kenmore Summer Concert Series which I book and run every year! But before that, I'm joined by my wife Dejah for a really gorgeous Breton slow air known as "Silvestrig". It's a famous Breton song, a lament, by a father for his son Sylvestre who goes to war. The father believes he will not return and in some version of the song he does, and in some he doesn't. Our version is from the legendary Breton singer Yann-Fañch Kemener. He passed away in 2019 and the world lost one of its great voices. Here he is singing this song:
