Modern day tables have changed the game so much. Seems like the tables have a lot more to the players. However I can’t discredit any of the great players from these generations. What a beautiful stroke Jim Rempe.
*JIM REMPE SHOWED UNBELIEVABLE CUE BALL CONTROL. MINIMAL SAFETIES IN THIS MATCH BECAUSE PLAYERS OF THIS ERA, PLAYED OFFENSE, PLAYED TO WIN OUTRIGHT* *GEORGE SAN SOUC "GINKY" PLAYED EXCELLENT. MORE TIME AND HE COULD HAVE CONTINUED TO BE A GREAT PLAYER!* _NO MISTAKES BY EITHER PLAYER, WAS JUST A RUN TO 11_
Still wish you would post that Archer vs Rempe match. One of the best ever.
There's a rempe vs efren match from the early 90's which was incredible. Rempe made a great comeback and it went hill hill. RUclips it.
To bad the magic rack wasn't around at the time of this match same rack every time for both players just pure play
Jimmy Rempe probably the most fundamentally solid player of all time.
Buckle up baby, you know this is gonna be a good one. Not an ounce of quit between either of these two 9 ball Legends
Thank you Accu-Stats for posting this great match!!! It’s nice to see New York favorite George SanSouci 🎱🎱🎱🎱
*WHEN MEUCCI CUES RULED THE WORLD, JIM REMPE WAS IN THE BARN, ONE OF ALL TOP PLAYERS*
@15:22 That had to be Nick Varner's phone ring tone. Who else *but* The Kentucky Colonel?
Jimmy is Awesome!!! He’s also a really great friend!! He taught me how to play pool in my boyfriend’s basement. 😘 love you Jimmy❤
I met Jimmy many years ago, what a class guy. He was such a solid pool player at all times.
George was such a great guy. Class act.
So is Jim, btw!

Without a doubt. If I had unlimited funds I would choose a table from this era . The speed and pockets are perfect.
I HATE THIS ERA OF ONLY DIAMOND TABLES
@@ricosuave1399 the only plus is the consistency of only diamond tables. The rasson tables are too legit.

Great Shooting , Jim Rempe!
Matches from this time, 90s and 80s are my favorite. Whatever happened to Howard Vickery? Don't hear anything about him did he pass away?
He went to prison for child molestation. It was shocking and unfortunate to hear that. I am not sure where he is at anymore.
It would be nice to see more matches from other players from this tournament!
Ginky is missed so much by us in the NYC pool scene. A victim of the disgusting opioid crisis in this country.
I have been clean for 14 years, but the same thing happened to me. I had a bad injury and got addicted to opiates. God Bless.
Holy smokes.
Wow what a match!

Rempe was smooth billiards 🎱
Let's see one this Tuesday!
RIP Ginky.
RIP, Ginky!
The shot on the 4 by San Souchi in rack 8, You can't do that with a measle ball! The game was more artistic with the lighter, more curvey cue ball..

What a great… WHAT?
No doubt players have gotten better at safetys since this match. Most of these safetys were okay by today's standard, not great.
Jinky was strong
If someone would force me to pick one of the two hairstyles. I can’t stop thinking about that. So annoying. Want to enjoy the match
Ginky totally out-played Jim. But Jim played well enough I guess.

Jimmy said where did you put these George i can't get em to stay lol
Looks like JR is using a rare one-off Meucci. Not anywhere in the archives. Has points like a 95-30 but the rest is different.
It is a Meucci custom with real gemstones inlaid; at the time of production it was in the neighborhood of $10K.
