Hi KAYLYN, I used a a texturizer on my hair, it made my hair really thin and soft. If I lay my head on a flat surface, it will be very obvious the side that was on a flat surface because that side goes completely flat. I would like to have curls, do you think I need to trim my hair and grow it back naturally or should i follow the process and the products on your video? I need your help please🙏🏾

The comment section is unbearable 🤦🏾♂️ y’all seriously don’t know that the white residue from the product will absorb into the hair 😂 Y’all are sooo special
I will recommend doing this every 2 weeks especially if u have very dry hair the best solution is to add oil or leave in washing your hair constantly will damage your hair and leave it to dryness once it dries up (like the more u wash the more dryer it gets) plus u will be flaking badly
thanks this is so helpful! I am Hispanic with a son who is half black and we have always kept his hair short because I don't know how to take care of it. He is now 14 and he wants to grow it out and this video was beyond helpful. Thank you
This really helped me!! Out of the thousands of videos I’ve sat through and actually experimented with, this was the solution to my problem! Thx you 👌🏿😩😩
I like how she said his hair basically needs to get used to being moisturized around 3:07. I found that out accidentally 3.5 years ago by trial and error taking care of my 4c Brotha Hair. It takes time and patience and trying products. I changed around my products but if I had to have only ONE it would be Curls Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave-In Conditioner, pricier than run of the mill alcohol heavy Cantu but not up there with the MIss Jessie's and the most leave-in expensive I've ever used, Ouidad. Which was okay to me, no harm was done but I've gotten better effect for cheaper prices from Shea Moisture and Fantasia products. Also, oil is not a product, in my opinion, it's a food group and 4c hair needs it to flourish. I use virgin organic from Trader Joes.
I like this video because you explain way better... like I felt educated.. so I Have to wash it 3 times a week? Or maybe 4? My hair gets dry ash after I wash it and my curls are gone after like hour well not gone but, it shrinks and it’s dry ash .. Do I use moisturizer every morning and night ?? Because I 8ams erryday I’m not tryna walk around campus looking old asf with yum yum sauce in my head.. or throughout the day maybe like 3 times? I’m tryna find the key.. I’m tired of hair looking like Garbo.. fr
Wash it once a week. If you wash hair too often, it'll get damaged. Also, it's good to spray your hair with a little water daily (that way your curls get moisture and pop out even on days when you haven't washed it). You should also put oil (I prefer argan) after you moisturize your hair with water (I usually do this in the morning so everything looks fresh). Over time your hair will keep getting and looking healthier and healthier-- good luck!
For those that it’s not working on you can do 2 strand twist this method works on certain hair types I’m black but my hair type is more loose so 2 strand twist are the best way for me
This was really helpful.. muchly appreciated. Question: this was done on wash day. Throughout the week, what should one do to maintain moisture and the curls?
Hope he didn't walk out the crib wit that white residue in his hair... That's what I hate about the curl enhancing smoothie if u use too much it will leave residue even when it dries
Thank you for this! Thanks to your videos I learned how to better take care of my hair. I too have low porosity curly hair but damn I barely deep conditioned and NEVER with heat. I done bout a blow dryer and Hella deep conditioner and my hair getting better at holding moisture daily! Thank you!
Hey, I really like your tutorials🔥. I have a question. What to do the next day after curling your hair for the first time? I mean cuz I’m tryna curl my hair and this is gonna be my first time,so I would like to know what to do the day after ! I’ve already bought the products but I wanna make sure what to do after before to start. Thanks
for someone with bad hair. can curly sponge work in it???? and what shampoo and condition to use to give it a not so dry look? the Tresemme will work????
So I need to wash my hair more and maybe put more oil in it. No matter what products I put in my hair it never curls, it ends up looking moisturized and slightly less nappy. I end up having to use the twist spong which is not the type of curl I'm going for.
you can sleep with a satin (not cotton) pillow case for like $10. you dont have to put a scarf/bonnet on if you have a satin pillowcase. and maybe spray your hair a little in the morning with water and really thats it. but getting into a routine of regularly washing is most important of all
KAYLYN IVY wait so if you had put the curl enhancing soothie in the day before do you have to apply it each day or you can just wet your hair and it will just leave your hair curly?
Ummm...I’m trying to figure out a good way to explain this cause it’s different for everyone. Basically if your the type of person that washes their hair every single week, then you don’t have to apply product every day because your hair will still be holding onto it from the first day you applied it. Now if you’re someone who rarely washes their hair, like once a month or even less, then your hair is going to naturally just be dry because you never wash it so it’s not used to holding onto water/products. So you’d have to apply it every day. But if you were to start washing your hair every week, over time you’d start to notice that the product that you put in the first initial day stays and you don’t have to keep reapplying anymore
I wear a durag, and just condition with Aussie and then cantu products in the shower every morning (curls are not time efficient at all). There’s no way to wake up perfect

Great video. I'm so lost. My hair was thinning and damaged. I cut all the perm off. It's a dull color and so ugly. I dont know where to begin. Everyone use different products. How long should I use a product before I can actually say its not working for me?

Another trick for those with coily or kinky hair is when you deep condition let it sit for 20 30 mins with alittle heat or a shower cap then detangle after it sits because it softens and relaxes the hair enough to make them tangles slide out.. my family be wondering how i detangle all this mane i keep tryna tell em nobody wants to listen they think i got some special hair growth gene.. no its because i focus on healthy hair care and not just length.. I promise length will come with healthy hair care its a given man or women.
