This video shows you how to install a low beam bulb on your 2015-2019 Hyundai Sonata.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Hey I’m trying to replace my low beams in my 2016 sonata & I can’t get the bulbs to turn for the life of me. It just shreds my fingers as I try to turn it. Anyone have any advice on how to get it out?
I have a 2019 Hyundai santafe and my fat fingers dropped the bulb is there any way of getting it back out without pulling everything apart cheers Adam

How do you unlock it though?
Wife has roughly the same car. It's a 2015 limited sport 2.0t. The problem is in her headlight compartment, there is a large silver electrical device, and the inside looks nothing like this. Any ideas?

Thanks! The car's manual says to unclip a retaining wire and then press down to remove the bulb. I have no idea what that means, where the retaining wire is, or where to push down on. Thanks to your video, I found that none of that is true. All you have to do is twist.
I have replaced headlight low beams 3 times in the past 2 years...brake lights 4 times in 2 years...what could be causing this? I've used budget bulbs and tried the most expensive ones from autozone. Still have replaced too frequent I think

I have a 2018 and my left low beam stays off most of the time and then sometimes it will just pop back on good as new for a few minutes, then turn back off. Does this mean it could be a wiring problem or should I go get a new bulb? Haven’t had this issue before with a vehicle.
So, do you go to the passenger side when it's on the passenger side? It will not turn. I tried towards the driver side and same story. Any ideas?
Why not plug the bulb into the cable before putting it all back in?
So basically with low beams it's put on side of passenger and then twist it down to lock into place.
And for high beams it's the same thing passenger side but it's twisted up to lock into place.
Isn’t that the high beam?
My running lights work but my high and low beams do not😢
This video doesn't tell you that you have to remove other parts IN FRONT of the caps covering the bulbs!
It looks so easy but im too stupid to do it myself
I just replaced the driver side bulb, take 3 minutes to remove the battery and it gave me plenty of room to work with my. And it takes less than a minute to replace the light bulb without struggles.
Most screwed up method I’ve ever seen.
Try to make it more simple next time
Hyundai has been around for well over 25 years now and people still can’t pronounce it correctly. Drives me crazy!
He left out a bunch of steps, terrible tutorial, save yourself the time
I used a long screwdriver and pried against the plastic housing to get the bulb loose. Have had other bad problems with our Hyundai. Will never buy another one.
