2018 Santa Fe had a left low beam (drvs side) not working. Bulbs were good. After reading several posts about bad connections I wriggled many of the main plugs to that headlight assembly. What ever I wriggled it worked!! Saved me a ton of aggravating useless work.
Thanks buddy. I couldn't figure out why my headlight wouldn't get working and after watching this and just fiddling around with it I got it working again.
I cannot emphasize enough about how HELPFUL your video was. I have a Hyundai tuscon 2017. The right low beam headlight would turn off randomly. At first for a minute, then eventually for an hour at a time . I was afraid of getting a ticket. So I checked the two fuses that supposedly related but they were good. A cheap $7 fuse tester from auto zone is something I recommend always having for any newer vehicle. I watched this video and went straight to the back connector to the headlight apparatus and bulb. It was not screwed on all the way. The moment I tightened it about 1 inch. The light came on…, it was slightly loose!!!!! This saved me a mechanic fee and possibly being taken advantage of.. thank you
THANK YOU! I had to think outside the box and find your car. Same issue with a Mazda 6 2016. Took out my high and low on 1 side. Was about to go buy a reply. The problem wasn't the wires but it was a Chinese LED upgrade. Short out the bulbs, swap the light, and do what you said. Worked, just need to swap out 1 bulb and save me hundreds or thousands.
Thank you for sharing! I have a 2017 Hyundai Sonata I’ve been having problems with these headlights and brake lights for quite awhile. I always change them but this time a few days ago my headlight on the drivers side went out, I took the bulb out it wasn’t burned out so I bought another bulb it didn’t work, so now I’m furious and getting upset. My uncle sent me your video and I’m going to take these steps. I’ll keep you informed.
Just fixed it. My issue was the cap on the car wasn’t tightly closed. I turned car on while that one side of the headlight wasn’t working. Kept car running, opened hood & opened cap to inspect light & reclosed the cap tightly. Light just came on by itself after that. All good now. Thanks for video!
Still fighting with my 2019 Elantra with similar problems. I really think you stumbled onto the the fix but it doesn't seem like you are 100% sure of exactly how you got there. I, on the other hand, am ready to put a toggle switch on the dashboard and forget the whole OEM wiring mess..
I never had a problem again after the fix. Another thing to keep in mind if u drive uber or at night often your bulb has hrs. On the other hand when installing the bulb connector must lock in the slot if not the bulb will die
I take out old blub on right low beam from my 2015 Hyundai Sonata and I just put attempted new blub to work on right low beam it's didn't work twice ..I brought new bulbs 8-20 dollars . I even unplug on blub for left beam and i was about to switch to make sure and I realized blub have light itself on for without plug on it when I turn on light . I realized it's smart junction box fuse problem and there recall on it
Yes I was able to fix my problem. So first I check if the bulbs is good from there I check the ground wire that the connector go to frame. If that was loose it a problem. I tighten it more but my main problem was my connector wire was so tight no slack when put it place. I test it by taking it out of it place leave it out and the light turn on. So from there I pulled on the wire that was clip in place let it loose a bit then I loosened the 2 wire apart and once I put it back in place make sure it sit in place tight. That was my problem.

There should be fuse box in side your car too and outside. It should tell u which one . If your not sure locate a few turn your key on position but don't start car. Then remove the fuse each one to identify which one is off and replace it . Also if your radio not working it could be u have a bad ground too or burn fuse. Hope this help
Can someone help on my Hyundai Elantra 2016 when I turn on the headlights, the left one doesn’t work and the right directional Arrow inside the car is on doesn’t matter what I do. Also the right headlight and directional light don’t turn on

Depending how often u drive at night and the hrs of the light it could be your light is out of it life. Time for new one. I drive at night alot so in a yrs and a half it done
Hi sorry u didn't catch it. The fix for my car was the light wire connector was closed together that somehow cos short. So I split the wire out like lose cos both wire were close and it was tight . That solve the problem.

It's the connector itself you have to replace it cut the old one off and splice the new one in. They go bad in alot of the newer cars

Great information but need to minimize movement when video recording
Had issues with rear blinker lamps, turned out they used cheap contacts in bulb sockets, cleaned with electrical cleaner, they work fine now!!😲😲

Wash your engine!
You are not supposed to touch the bulb with your skin oils it will cause hot spots on the glass and burn out quicker!😲😲
