I road tripped solo around the island of Sicily and challenged myself to see how many things I could buy for $100 USD! I gotta be honest, this island is a lot more rustic and beautiful than I imagined - and I enjoyed it more than mainland Italy! Have you ever been to Sicily? What do you think of it?

@@user-ud9no4bu5t I paid 2,5 EUR (Palermo market) and 3 EUR (Erice entrance gate) this weekend.
@@user-ud9no4bu5tnah man that's waaay overpriced you can get Arancinis for 1,50 or 2€
@@user-ud9no4bu5t nah Bro that is waaay overpriced
You can get an arancino for like 1,50 or 2€ depends on where you go
You should visit the nearby island of Sardinia.
I love Scilly, what is there not to love about this beautiful charming island! love from trinidad 🇮🇹🇹🇹
love to trinidad from hungary!
The Rice ball Drew is Arancini...and its delicious
It’s original name in Arabic kubbah which means the sphere, it entered Italy long since the Arabs migrated there, and Italy in general is an Arab country so you’d find similarities with other Arab countries
Drew Binsky budget challenges are always the best unless he does a pure food binge.
Hi drew binsky! love your channel and your stories!
Glad to hear that! Thank you so much😀
I spent a day in Palermo in January and loved it! Did a fantastic food tour, including the Sicilian rice ball!
ARANCINIIIIIII NOT RICE BALL RICE BALL IS JAPANESE ITS CALLED A ONIGIRI!!!!!!!!

Nice video!❤
I absolutely love your channel... I'm surprised you don't have more followers!! 😢 I will def share your channel with my loved ones
My family is from Agrigento.
Never, ever refer to anything Sicilian as Italian, those are fighting words.
And vice versa.
I went to Sicily and Modica is my favourite part
My whole trip to Italy was 100. Flight 55 + hotel 40 (one restaurant meal was included in hotel price) + another hotel with shared bathroom 20 + 10 airport bus + 10 KFC, pizza, coffee in kiosk in park
Hey, would love to do that… I drove to Manfredonia in Foggia
Nails, Drew, nails 💅
Is donating money directly to street beggars, with many of them being addicts probably, is the right move? doesn't it such eternalize the circle of suffering and poverty?
You must be perfect....
@@fkusky70 of course not, and that's why I write with question mark, I don't know, and I was hoping a civilized discission could be had... Drew is amazing, it's nothing against him lol
sadly it is true that theres a problem with drugs in italy on the streets so I understand your question. Perhaps having bought food and giving the food away was a better alternative instead, thats what I did in frankfurt when the romani kept begging me
Great video. Did you go to any beaches? I hear it's 16 euro to access most of them.
Nice video
Thank you!
@@MoreTravelsWithDrewBinsky You’re welcome, good traveling!
you should also visit Calabria in Italy is also on the south and is very underrated it worth a road trip between Cosenza to Reggio Calabria with small cities like Pizzo, San Lucido ,Altomonte , Tropea, Amantea . Calabria has many different dialects that people still use in everyday life and its own unique food with the amazing nduija . i started living two years ago here and it really feels like Italy . It would be nice if you make a video and you make the place more known to the world, for me a trip here worth more than Florence etc that is over touristic
Always loved southern Italy it’s like the cradle of the Arabian world but in Europe 🇮🇶🇮🇹
There’s no ocean in Sicily: it’s the Mediterranean Sea!
olives part, gave the like, as it was simple and genuine
Eros ramazitti will perform in curacao in august.
Good mornig friend
Sicilia es Amor, Sicilia es Vida.
Translation
Sicily is Love, Sicily is Life.
❤❤❤
Malta when lol
5 dollar for arancino, you were scammed! Where I’m from you can get it for way less, like maximum 2-3€ haha
Sicilians are not italian. We have our own story, our own language, our own typical food, our own cultural identity.... We have nothing to do with the rest of Italy, and all the southern italy as well. I hope you had a good time here, love from Modica Drew ❤
Must have been a garbage strike in Palermo!
How much was rental car and gas?
Visit Naples
Hoot 🦉
The arancini, the rice ball, can be made with mushrooms, other meats n cheese. You can find them everywhere in Italy.
They are Arab food but Italy is Arab afterall so doesn’t matyer
@@user-wy8bo1ys9b arancinis are not arab. My fiance is arab so i know.
@@user-wy8bo1ys9bbro you trippin😂😂😂
@@karinadonofrio3327 lol Italy is indeed Arab nothing to be ashamed of you Arab who lives in Europe

A Derrick Favors jersey? That's definitely a bizarre gem in Sicily.
Remember Sicily from the game Hitman 2😂
Hi Hello brother. Good job and I'm From Bangladesh sylhet city. You come on.?
Who else thinks he is the best❤
👇
I love 🫒!!
You should come and visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is small Jerusalem in Eastern Europe. We have great food. All mediterian food you can find and traditional dishes. But most importantly histor here is strange and divide by religious. We did have a lot of wars but now is safe I mean a lot of tourist come and stay cause is cheap life for them. Also a lot of nature you can visit pyramids in Europe we have that also 😂 and also beautiful sea. If you are in Europe come to visit you will not regret it cause it is weird and beautiful country.
opinion on finland?
FinnishStan
@@user-wy8bo1ys9b Why do you say that? We do not even have lot of foreigners
3:46 I never thought that they also like to eat rice over there just like us Indonesian.
Sicilians have are arab, spanish, greek, nord african, frans, scandinavian and more ancestors, but most of all, they are just sicilian❤
So whe never found out what a hundred euro''s will get you except the greatest rice ball in the world?
lol he certainly could have bought more things! 🤣
friend they screwed you big time... an espresso and a croissant costs a maximum of €2.70 a rise ball a maximum of €2.50 olives €3
the only good thing is the painting for €1
I apologize to you as a Sicilian who follows you
FIRST
Sicily is a good Arab country
Arabs have a false religion.
Sicilians are christians.
And only Palermo was Arab
Unlike america where nobody has soul or character and the food is artificial and sucks
