I was there just a few days ago, a wonderful place to visit. A lot of it has been demolished but what remains is still very impressive

I've Travelled many a time past stone henge, seeing the peace across the way, until last year when I returned back to the UK and saw the row of trees planted, blocking the view. I'm not against tree planting. It was lovely watching your vlog really made an experience to remember ❤
It’s changed so much over the last few decades I remember walking around the stones when I was a kid now there’s 24hr security and they’ve closed the back road completely, but there’s always something magical about staying on the drove I always have the best sleep too, thanks for watching Diane and your lovely comments as always 🫶❤️🫶
The walk around us here includes a 'Menhir' - something else to see here buddy 👍

We were there on our trip in 2016, only Stonehenge, never knew about the other stones, I would have loved to see them. We were dropped at huge visitor centre and we had to catch shuttles up to the stones, I see they still have it roped off
It’s mind blowing how all that was created..

Well done JP once again a wonderful video. Love the technique you have of slowly panning the camera around in such a way that it feels like the camera is floating along capturing your surroundings, the sheep and cattle grazing, allowing us to experience the mystical, peaceful feeling of this sacred site. Watching you as you sat into the one old stone, gazing out across the fields I think you looked like you belonged …..
My mum and I returned to England in 1982, my cousin lived in Ross-on-Wye so we enjoyed a day trip out and visited Stonehenge. I wish we had known about Avebury and how close we were to it, we would have visited it for sure. Stay safe, well and happy. Judy🇨🇦

There really are some lovely places in our country to explore aren’t there. I have said it before , but your voice is always nice to listen to, it’s very soothing, if that makes sense. Just helps to make what you are telling us more enjoyable to listen to.. it’s hard to believe how they moved things and built things all those years ago, with mainly manual labour, plus a few bits they put together to help them , and they have lasted all these years, things made today would never stand the same test of time. Thank you for sharing.

I remember when i was much younger watching like a kids drama thing around the Stonehenge & sure it was next to a castle, it was either the same program or two different programs, sure one was called The Ghost If Motley hall or something similar, my memory aint what it used to be 😂 my partner said i must have dreamt about it 😂😂 misty days can be very spooky in places 😂 i like how you fir a granny nap in 😂 awesome place to explore 🍻 ❤
