Great video! I'm going to enjoy watching what your hike was like because you have a good sense of humor, and it seems like you find fun and adventure in everything that happens. Thanks for taking us along. geek
I only just found you, following along from England! I used to keep emergency money rolled up in the pocket for the frame in my rucksack - I mean, it didn’t have a purpose otherwise as I didn’t buy the optional frame! :-) (For years at home I kept £500 emergency running away money in my dressing gown pocket in case there was an emergency in the middle of the night and I had to leave my house in a hurry - I never had to use it, but I felt so safe that it was there and I’m convinced that if I had ever spent it, the next month I wouldn’t have been able to afford my rent…. and I never paid my rent late all the time I lived there!)
That’s actually hilarious! On day 2 after getting trail magic from Mountain Squid, I recorded myself saying “If I had to give myself a trail name right now, it would be Late Start.” But that footage didn’t make the cut.
@abbygoeshiking I relate ! I've been planning to do a popular sunrise hike that's nearby for the past 6 months, I set my gear out,set the alarm many times, and so far chose to sleep in. 😏
Hi Abby, I started 6 days after you, I hope you did better than I did - I made it 545 miles before falling and breaking a hand! That was the end of my hike. All the best from the UK Flags 🇬🇧
I honestly don’t remember if I purchased it off of their website, Amazon or somewhere else. I was scrambling finding gear since I decided to hike with a 2 month window before leaving. Thanks for following along!
I believe I got it from a subscription from WildWomanBox on Instagram. She pairs up with other small businesses and puts together cute and awesome outdoor boxes. You should definitely check her out! www.wildwomanbox.com

I wish you the best! What's with all the masks? Sorry I didn't realize this was 2 years ago..........
Thank you! Covid mandates were still strongly monitored on public transportation in 2022.
@@abbygoeshiking I realized that later, sorry. I thought this was a current hike.
