New Hampshire : New Era [Appalachian Trail Episode 14]
Enjoying my last moments in Vermont. Stayed at Little Rock Pond Shelter where a bunch of us swam to the other side, 3 of us named Abby. Some hiker, Jonah, found a hollow log and made a torch contraption before we got dumped on with rain and hail. Crossed many footbridges and met Long Trail hikers with only 500 miles left until Katahdin. Spent the morning climbing to the top of Mount Killington, crossing off another New England 4k. Such breathtaking views on a blue sky day. Made our way down the steep mountain and quickly crossed 1700 miles before reaching the highway to go into the town of Rutland, VT. Unfortunately but fortunately, we finally separated from a group member. The Gully Girl...

Just browsing through RUclips and came upon your channel. Nice job. Good times, decent photography, good content. Just amazing how RUclips doesn't seem to push it out there. You should easily have 5-10,000 subs by now. Well, keep it going. Your doing good!
Thanks so much for watching and for your kind words! Life gets busy and I haven’t been consistent enough to gain a large following. I actually lost many subscribers when I went on my recent trek this year of the pacific crest trail. It’s hard to stay relevant when you spend months in the backcountry and have to play catch up. But more is on the way so stay tuned!!
Live love to hiking with you.
You’re back! 🙌
Trying my best to catch up with content! Stay tuned!
I immediately recognized that pavilion and rope swing the AT never leaves you!
So happy to see you posting again, I actually said to my wife the other day I was worried something may have happened to you. Anyway, glad to watch the rest of your journey, especially since most of the people I was following this year already finished. Gives me something to look forward to.
Thanks for being patient and returning! I took a little hiatus to embark on my next hike, the Pacific Crest Trail. Stay tuned for more!
Oh awesome... that's a damn good reason not to post!

Thanks for watching! Currently hiking the PCT and will be posting again when I’m finished in the fall.
It’s been a while for another video. You were cruising along. Hope that it all went well and you were able to finish.
Thanks for following along! I really tried my best to get all of my videos finished before starting my 2024 PCT hike. Will have to resume in the fall, unfortunately!
Haha lovin' the Miss Moss: Origin story. Everything makes sense now;)
Thanks High King!!
Love the lighting in the shelter!
Was a fun time!
Just found you today! I love your content! We have such similar personalities
Thanks so much for watching!
What date did you enter CT? I did trail magic at the first parking lot in August 2022. There is a pic of the pyramid(the pile of stones on Bear Mtn) from 1974 in my India Golf account.
Camio @ 4:35 😊
Was always great to be around you on trail!
Wow...one hell of an accomplishment! And what a small world...we are from the same home town. Love the homecoming but can't wait to see more episodes!
That’s so cool! Small world! Stay tuned…unfortunately had to put my videos on hold until I wrap up my thruhike on the PCT!!
Very Nice!
Thanks!
Did you do the Triple Crown? In the video it looked like you took three days.
Yes, I completed the triple crown. We did it in 2 days honoring a hiker that passed away during that section.
It is so odd seeing trees above 5,000 feet is so odd. You won't see that in the Whites.
It was such a beautiful section. But the whites were my absolute favorite!
Great video! I'm going to enjoy watching what your hike was like because you have a good sense of humor, and it seems like you find fun and adventure in everything that happens. Thanks for taking us along. geek
Thanks for watching! I had the best life experience on the AT!
Puffy eyes, about as worrisome as a cloudy day. St. Paul,Minnesota.
cool vid!
Thanks!
Love the vids ceep up the good work
Thanks!
@@abbygoeshiking you are welcome
The YT algorithm is a little too specific for me. Sure i watch a lit of AT videos but early on i realized you are a Jersey girl, then today i realized I think we are from the same hometown. Small world. Anyway, keep the vids coming, i like the style and really enjoyed your canoe trip. Most vloggers don't show much else besides the trail and resupply so it is nice to see you enjoying each stop along the way and living in the moment. Really nice to see.
Thanks for following along! I really tried to capture what trail life was really like. Including the party scene
Loving the memories of 2022! Thanks Abby. Also love the salty language haha! Extra credit for hiking the Shennies after your Aqua blaze…looked like a blast!
Thanks for following along! I don’t have much of a filter and I’m not sorry about it lol!

McAfee Knob was absolutely beautiful!
One of my favorite spots! Would love to visit again.
That goat you saw was Little Leaf and her owner Kate, they have a RUclips page too🐐😄 ruclips.net/video/ApwvqI8xfQw/видео.htmlsi=2Qr1_UrQVQhi_cwE

Thanks for following along!
Cool to see Sauce in your videos. I got naked and he sprayed me down with a hose behind a tavern in PA.
This is almost like time travel - thank you for taking us along!
Thanks for following along!
Flag it as 2022
@@goonbuggy1135 literally labeled 2022 in the thumbnail of all the AT posts
lazy and taking away from others doing it this year.
Thank you for tuning in and following along!
Came across your video still reliving my hikes of the AT and so happy to see other hikers in your videos. The people are the greatest part of the hike. Hiked a good bit in 22 before injury took me off in Gorham, NH and saw quite a few in your video during I hiked with at one point or another. I did a video ruclips.net/video/YuwJCxRwFQo/видео.html that has quite a few familiar faces if you care to watch. Good job on your thru! JERMS
Thanks for following along! I met so many awesome people while thru hiking. Sorry to hear about your injuring taking you off trail. Hope you can get back out there again!
I only just found you, following along from England! I used to keep emergency money rolled up in the pocket for the frame in my rucksack - I mean, it didn’t have a purpose otherwise as I didn’t buy the optional frame! :-) (For years at home I kept £500 emergency running away money in my dressing gown pocket in case there was an emergency in the middle of the night and I had to leave my house in a hurry - I never had to use it, but I felt so safe that it was there and I’m convinced that if I had ever spent it, the next month I wouldn’t have been able to afford my rent…. and I never paid my rent late all the time I lived there!)
Thanks for following along! It sounded like a good idea at the time. Will have to find another spot lol
👍

Hi Abby, I started 6 days after you, I hope you did better than I did - I made it 545 miles before falling and breaking a hand! That was the end of my hike. All the best from the UK Flags 🇬🇧
Thanks for following along! Sorry to hear your hike ended early. Hope you can get back out there pick up where you left off!
