Thank you for this, truly. As someone with social anxiety and constant imposter syndrome I often feel like if I can’t contribute/share something of value, I may as well not share anything at all.

Those are exactly some of my greatest fears and mines didn't come from me, came from abusive relationships and and judgemental parents that never said the words I love you when I was growing up. Whom I need to get over the hopes of getting whatever it is I'm yearning, stupidly waiting to get from them at my age, I think! Idk something isn't right.

Valeria, I hear and feel you ❤Similar questions live in my head, too. Working on self-expresion is haRRRd. I do believe that self-reflection is both the cause to realizing what lies deeper but also a cause to blockage of selfexpresion (if we didn't have self-reflection, we would not think at all before blabbing whatever).
I sometimes like listenig to the UK radio show "Unpopular opinion" where people call and share their unpopular or controversial views - funny and precious at times - I recommend for entertainment or a manual on being bold 😉

Valeria, I’m so glad you shared these thoughts right here. I’m 27 and I have the same exact thoughts about wanting to share things, asking myself why, is it egotistical to want to share my thoughts, etc etc etc. Then when we have so many thoughts, we think we shouldn’t be doing it because we assume the creators who are doing it probably don’t have these thoughts! But it’s SO GREAT to see that they do! YOU do! It just gives people like me so much more freedom than what we have previously allowed for ourselves ❤️

Though I am rather an extraverted person and have been told that I am giving confidence vibes (u questioned in the video how some people do speak themselves easily - sweating), I am very much on the same journey of finding the courage to be truly myself in conversations, not holding myself back. It feels as if some value, that one could have brought to our community, was withdrawn by muting ourselves in a way of constrain.
I am pretty sure that this happens to many well-educated and empathetic people as they live in a society. This kind of constraint is or was kind of obligatory on a certain stage of an individual's development.
I am sure that unlocking the capacity to express yourself fully in a good way is part of the journey if one dares to.

I have never thought about my life choices this way. I have never thought about my life choices like what would happen if I have done it. Althout, I often wonder what would happen if I said NO to "opportunities" that I took. Because they put me down so much that I had to work hard every day for months (or years) to overcome those things.
I realised this lately too. I just moved into my own flat and now I have some sort of crisis. Is the way I behave my way? Or was it a way to just keep the family peace? Some thoughts like that.
I appreciate the fact, that You always share with us Your insecurities , pointing out that it is okay to have them, to work on them and so on
And Valeria, there is no finishing line in this growing and learning journey! Thats the beauty of it ❤ you live, you learn.

I remember watching one of your earlier videos when you were still living in toronto and Gary encouraged you to do a speaking event and I remember you sharing that you were uncomfortable speaking and sharing on a stage.
