    • @randyjones3050

      It likely depends on whether you were born with it or not. If it is deviated as a result of an accident (like this man) you can probably have it fixed with a simple adjustment. However, if it is a deformation you were born with it will likely require surgery. I was born with a deviated septum and it required surgery. The surgeon told me that he had to break my nose and then reset it. Also, there was surplus bone and cartilage that needed to be removed as well because it was a birth deformity. The several days following the surgery were horrible, but I have never regretted having it done. It was worth it.

      My medical insurance refuses to cover a chiropractor visit unless it’s for something like an injury sustained from a car accident that I had to report, be taken to the hospital, examined, treated, found that the treatment didn’t work, and provided a prescription by the hospital for a chiropractor. I’d have to pay for the chiropractor visit out of pocket. But they are willing to cover the deviated septum surgery in full. That’s my situation. Either I pay a crazy amount out of my pocket, or I just tip my surgeon a hundred bucks.

Youd be better off finding a plan that covers chiro treatment if yours doesnt. I work in the health insurance field so I can assure you, there are thousands of affordable benefit plans that cover chiro treatment. Itd be worth any amount of money to do some path of treatment that avoids surgery. Surgery should always be a very last resort my friend. Good luck!

    • @SpecificChiropractic
      @SpecificChiropractic  5 лет назад +16

      Correct, sinus is a cavity. The bones make up components of that cavity. In this patient, the maxillary bone was misaligned therefore changed the air flow in the maxillary sinus resulting in sinus debris buildup that the immune system needs to remove. Realigning the maxillary bone into proper place reduces the air turbulence and restores air flow and circulation, aiding in drainage and ease of debris removal. Same can be done for sphenoid bone for sphenoid sinus and frontal bone for frontal sinus.

    came to the comments to see. an I the only one who feels the interactions were a bit awkward. there's obviously a language barrier and the doctor just kinda seems oblivious. I mean, he's saying things that even I have to go huh at. I don't know, those long awkward pauses are kinda funny.

      @@visitor3756 it's not about me. It's about sanitation. You must have no personal hygiene. These people could have foot fungus and this dude will still grab their dirty feet. It's gross as hell.
