Day 1: Another great hidden jem often looked over is the low tier T-80. It is the fastest firing tank in the game that isn’t an auto cannon or has an autoloader. And it has one of the best gun depressions a Russian tank can have at a whopping -8° of maximum gun depression. It’s turret traverse is abysmal and it’s armor is something to be desired, but the reload is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it. (Great content as always! Years ago, I saw a SVT-40 in the Greenville, SC Cabella's "gun room". I considered buying it but it was expensive (also 54R ammo was starting to get expensive). It did look like the big brother to an sks. If you wanted a semi-auto 7.62x54R I would stick with the upsized AK style rifles (dragunov clones etc.). The SVT-40 is more of a collectors gun (I have read that they shoot well but are hard to disassemble).

+ reload by magazine or clips from above
    + mf lookin good
    + precise shooting
+ 2 versions: with or w/o scope mount
    + kicks hard
    - overheats quite quickly
    - very complicated and sturdy disassembly (pain #1)

Phly, you've brought back the "Everybody" intro right? Well, there has been a certain song kinda stuck _In My Head_ phor a while that you could also bring back!
    Attempt # 524
The song i mean is Virtual Riot - In My Head (feat. PRXZM)

The B6N1 mod.11 is basically a Zero with a 800kg bomb or x6 60kg bombs and a 1.7 br sight. It has no offensive weapons but you can also try the B6N2 mod.12 with two 7.7mm machine guns in 2.3 br. Maybe it can be an interesting video

it might actually be cheaper to go look for a Romanian PSL than an SVT-40, but if youre looking for the classic look then its worth it

SVT-40s are kinda unreliable Phly. I think they're pretty rare in the US for some reason, but I think Canada has a bunch.

Wait, when did Phly talk about an SKS? I freakin love that gun. We have a Chinese Type 56 which is weirdly a bit better than the Russian one. We think it's from the 50s and may have even been Vietnam surplus. Still pounds nails, even with the crappy antique red dot my grandpa slapped on it ages ago.

Phly look into a PSL-54C. Not as affordable as it used to be, but probably more attainable than an SVT40 and gives Dragunov vibes.

svt-40's are super cool, it's too bad the rifles and their magazines are so damn expensive, hopefully someone will make a repro someday
    I wish there were more self-loading 7.62x54r rifles that weren't a long-stroke piston system.

Holy crap SVT40s are ridiculously priced now! You used to be able to get them for $200-300! For the price they are getting now, you can get a nice M1.

I've owned an SVT-40 its decent but would jam when fired fast...you pretty much got to open the gas port as much as possible to get good cycling of rounds...now a SVD Dragunov wont have this issue but it cost 3x as much for the full kit...as far as modding an SKS just go for it as pretty much everything it bolt on/replacement I.E. stock, mag, hell even a polish is easy just to clean up burrs...hope this helps
