Fun fact: the A-10 has about the same payload capacity as a B-29... they both have a typical loadout of 12k lbs of bombs/rockets for medium range missions.
Only difference basically is the hog has a cannon, and the b52s carry nukes lmao (no idk if the b52 has an insane payload, I'm sure it does)

@@mrperson6963 12 thousands pounds of bombs OR rockets hence the slash. Obviously the b29 can't carry rockets but the a10 can which is why it's included.
It shows how much aviation had improved in only a few decades that this is carrying twice the bomb-load of a B-17.
Improvement in rocket technology, we’ve understood aerodynamics to a science for quite a while.
there was more time between the B-17 and the A-10 than there was between between the Wright brothers Flyer 1 and the B-17
God I can't stop looking at that A-10: "single engine desperate bombing run" the whole setting was unbelievably cinematic!
Fun fact: the a10 can carry 6 Mavericks, 2 gun pods, 4 aim9ls, 2 2000 lbs bombs, and a fully loaded p47 on top of it

Day 1: Phly you should try naval EC. It’s available every weekend now. The huge maps and long battle time make it much more fun than normal naval battles, especially with battleships and battlecruisers.

I love how we have a steady WT dose of "CAS is fine" problem for years and Gaijin keeps adding to it lmfao
I think the more painful problem is the amount of people who drive around in AA vehicles, but refuse to raise their gun higher than 10 degrees.

Cas wouldn't be a problem it is balanced out by AA, unfortunately people like to use the AA improperly.
@@generalkenobi5173 yes, and there is a problem with loadout spawn points, they make bombs really cheap and in high amounts, while rockets are expensive even though they require a lot of skill to get a tank kill
they also dont consider spawn point price with the amount of bombs, they let the players take 6 bombs for the price of 1

IMO the MBT-70 is the definition of almost fun. With the 20mm, mobility, smoke grenades, and massive auto-loading gun, it has so much potential. But with the lack of thermals and penetration, when the most common enemy you face is the T-72AV (TURMS-T), you just get killed a second before you start to have fun.

MBT-70 and KPz-70 are definitely my favorite in the game as well. First modern tanks, still awesome, ATGM's and 20mm turret making AA possible, they're amazing!
Hey phly I’ve just been playing random vehicles in random lineups and one vehicle I personally have had a fun time with and nobody plays is the MARS15, it’s an 8.0 interesting light French tank. I just think you should give it a shot :)

@@randomdeadpool I meant like play an entire game using only the view from the cockpit or turret, none of the viewpoint of floating around in space looking at your own vehicle and being able to peek around corners.

the mbt-70 feels like playing a proper light tank, not an ifv, a light tank in the ww2 era sense where it is basically just a medium tank with less armor and a slightly weaker gun so it can move faster. also I'm pretty sure the german version of the mbt-70 still has a shorter reload
Yeah I think the kpz 70 has a 6 second reload. Also I'm pretty sure it has 1500 hp, but the mbt 70 has 1475 it looks like

Classic streamers luck in that flank from the first battle at 6:15. Had his back turned to the spawn for almost 2 minutes, not once looking back and never got shot from behind. My ass would've been dead within 30 seconds, lol.
edit: I didn't initially catch that he dropped smoke, but I'm not to top tier yet and the tanks I normally drive don't have that much smoke :(

It was the vehicle that got me my phirst nuke, and I’d like to see it and the ABUL/74 (specifically the 90mm) on the channel!
The combo means in any terrain you can get to a sneaky spot, and scout phor tons of SP!

Maybe the Ground BR for planes should change depending on the loadout... higher for smart weapons, lower for dumb bombs and rockets. Maybe by pre-selecting the loadouts you want to choose from during the game.

Remember for every kill you see on a meme compilation, they died at least 10 times. I can't even begin to count how many bt5 or m22 budding memelords I've curb stomped in high tier matches. incase gaijin looks at this: can we get engine fire extinguishers that work on the a10? see the forums cockpit evidence photo figure 11. or just the top right corner of the cockpit controls. and the ability to brake wheels up... thats why the main gear are showing, for safer wheels up landing and braking
the most hardcore pilots land wheels up. aint nobody got time to reduce speed for landing gear.
