Hang Gliding at SOGA, June 4, 2023

Blue Thermal day at SOGA June 4, 2023. Video shows the haze from the Northern Ontario and Quebec fires at 1700 feet while on tow. The new expanded field. Kirt, our newest tug pilot. Alex below me scratching my thermal. Patrick landing beside the tug. Nick launching. Not a high thermal day but there was lots of lift with several dust devils ripping down the fields this day. Over an hour flight this day.

Certainly looks safer than putting on a wingsuit and sending it. Holy cow, the rotax(?) in the little tow has some poop! Great vid, thanks

The only thing more scarier than flying on a hang glider . Is that rickety hang glider with a lawnmower engine pulling the hang glider. 😊

It does look like something out of Mad Max. It's the slowest flying aircraft possible with a "snowmobile" engine. Look at the landscape from above. its all flat and open fields. You could land anywhere if you had to.
