Rubber mallet with mast on a hard surface 3. Rubber mallet against mast, with foil between two saw horses 4. Steel mallet against mast, using wood protected, with foil between two saw horses

Skateboard Wing on November 30, 2024. 30km winds, 2c, with 6m wing. Between the liquid and hard water season. The quickest way to shorten the lifespan of your wing. I sometimes tape empty water bottles to the tips of the wing to protect from scuffs.

November 13, 2024. Sun sets early. Took advantage of winds blowing past sunset and full moon. Two days before the Super moon.

Searching for big offshore swells. Only 2.5km offshore from the bottom of the Bay, but it feels uncomfortably far offshore. If I doubled the distance the swells would be even bigger, but that's beyond my comfort zone. If I blow a bladder, I estimate swimming back downwind at 2-3 kph. The swells are the biggest off the point, leeward side.

November 8, 2024. Most of the boats are out for the season and the canal is vacant. Didn't know if the wind shadow was too much to wing foil. Only one way to find out. Jump in and GO. MUSIC: Bargin by The WHO

Not many places in the World like this place. 4 km of sandy beach to myself, fresh water, waves and parking on the beach.
