Caustic soda is also not good for skin. My advice is : Just simply use the Chana Dal powder (Besan) it should be a little bit hard and mix it with Neem leaves powder that's it. Neem - It takes care of the germs Besan - Skin glow
I think you need to know the difference of soap and face cleanser...soap is for body-use only bcs any soap-based product is not suitable for our face's skin, while face cleanser is water-based

You are handling it without gloves, also when added to water it will give hazardous fumes. Also, you haven't told people not use the utensils used for making soap for cooking as it will come in contact with lye base. Very irresponsible behaviour.
