    I think for the people that it’s affecting are not using the plant properly, making sure the toxins are removed from the plant is very important but the plant over all is full of healing just needs to be used correctly

    I love aloe Vera for my starter locs and especially my scalp. Oh yeah and I also tried using grape seed oil before for my scalp and it made my scalp feel inflamed and so irritated so I use jojoba oil and that has been working wonders.

      Awww great! Yes Aloe Vera is one of my staples 👌🏾. Sorry to hear about Grape seed oil 😯 so I’m not the only one who it doesn’t agree with Wow! I just don’t understand why. 🤷🏾‍♀️. Thank you for sharing.

    Hi Mazz! Your hair looks beautiful, you’re right it is growing. I have used aloe Vera juice. I prefer it over rose water. Never had an issue, but like you I do switch up my moisturizer spray. I’m going to continue to use it as well. Stay blessed!

    Hello from Texas, USA - its Becca Mazz (new name) I use the juice from fresh aloe leaf!! Each time I retwist I use it on the new growth - helps bond it in a good way -I am in agreement- I think it helps with thickening my roots - - stay safe & well & thumbs up for ALOE vera - hair & skin 😊

    Yes she is right but I believe she is talking about the big jug that you get from Walmart. I have used it once or twice in my locs from that particular jug of aloe vera juice and my hair felt soft and dry at the same time. If I continued using it, my locs would have been brittle as well. However, I have never used the actual aloe plant in my locs so I'm pretty sure that would make a big difference as well. Maybe if the liquid was mixed with oil, it would have made a difference but I wouldn't use it again.

    • @mazznaturals
      @mazznaturals  2 года назад

      Thanks for confirming that yes I hear you. I’ve only used ones that I ordered from eBay or Amazon. I do prefer to use the actual real plant mixed with some oil. I mostly use it on my scalp as it’s good for moisture. The last batch I used from eBay did make my hair feel a bit dry and brittle I just don’t know why 🤔🤷🏾‍♀️. However I did stop using it for a while and started making my own Rosemary or Clove Spray spritzes.

    Thanks for this video! I used to use aloe on my daughters hair before she got locs as a deep conditioner and then wash out. Does it defeat the purpose if I do that with her locs? She has only had locs for about 1.5yr, and I only get it retwisted every 6wks (she is 3yrs now so it’s still a battle lol) so I’m nervous to spray it in her hair as a daily or weekly routine because I don’t want her roots and hair puffing out between her hair appointments.

    • @mazznaturals
      @mazznaturals  Год назад +1

      Your most welcome, you can definitely use the Aloe for her Locs. If your using the fresh Aloe I wouldn’t personally use it all over her Locs unless you dilute it with Purified water 💦 or distilled water 💦. Make sure it’s watery into a spray so you don’t cause any buildup. I know it can be tricky with Young children having Locs as they might like to roll around when playing 😆. I’m sure as her Mother you will make sure her Locs are kept healthy. 😊 I will send a link how I made my Aloe spray if you haven’t already watched it.

      @@mazznaturals thanks so much for the response, and yes, I’ve watched the video 🤗🤗. I haven’t had hair myself for 10yrs so I’m always learning and watching great videos like this!! So you think it doesn’t defeat the purpose if I just soak her hair in the diluted version, maybe sit for an hour, and then wash it out before she gets her retwists?

    • @mazznaturals
      @mazznaturals  Год назад

      Awww your welcome…..and thanks for watching 😊🤗. Yes it’s fine to soak her hair I sprayed the Aloe spray over my hair as a leave in conditioner you don’t have to wash it out if you don’t want to. If you do decide to wash it out and retwist it’s ok not a problem. Well done for caring for your daughter hair. Sorry to hear you haven’t had hair for 10 years? 🙏🏾

    If it works for you stick with it. Personally I don't much and it works for me.
    The only thing I'll switch up is shampoo and conditioner. 🤷🏽‍♀️ my hair is fragile and always has been. What works for me may not be right for someone else.

      Yes you are right I will stick with it also it’s good to switch it up once in a while. We have to do what’s best for our own hair. Thank you I Appreciate your input. 😊
