    Hello viewers, In this video you will learn how to make a 12v Auto Cutoff battery charger using computer power supply, DC-DC boost converter and Charge Controller module.
    For this video, i will be using a DC-DC buck boost converter module that comes with a part number HW-140 but you can use any DC-DC boost converter module for this purpose.
    Also, a computer power supply is a good source of 12 volt with high amperes which is desirable for designing this device.
    Since a computer power supply provides a maximum of 12.5 volts at its output terminals, we cannot use it to charge a 12v battery because any dry or lead acid battery requires at least 13 volts at its input terminals to charge it properly that is why we need a DC-DC boost converter which is an excellent option for this device as it step-up the voltage that is provided at its input terminals to any desired range.
    Also, in order to introduce an Auto Cutoff feature we need to add a charge controller module (HCW-M632) which provides the flexibility to control the charging of a 12v or 24v battery. These modules are now easily available online.
    HW-140 Description:
    Buck - Boost Module (Constant Voltage Constant Current LCD Version)
    1. Product Highlights:

    How do we consider the difference in multimeter reading and volt meter reading in the module ??or we set according to multimeter reading ?

      Dear, please always consider the multimeter reading because the module voltmeters are cheap and they do not provide accurate voltage reading.
