      @@zeyaj1446 Canadian here. So for the 75g of Maple Syrup, I would put a bowl/cup on a scale and weigh out 75g of the syrup? Thanks

    I am from The Netherlands...We don't have double cream 😞
    Can I replace the double cream with something else?
    Maybe whipping cream? 🤔
    I just saw it can be replaced by 2 parts whipping cream 35% and 1 part mascarpone.
    or only creme fraiche.
    Maybe this info can help someone else to.

    Hi Jemma this recipe sounds absolutely amazing. I am a bit concerned doing the pecan topping. Can I please ask you, when you put the maple syrup, brown sugar, cream and butter do you mix it all before starting to cook it? Thanks J

    Your videos have been very inspiring, I use some of your recipes to create new ones, for example I used your chocolate sponge in the Snickers cake, your italian meringue, your cookie cheesecake and made a S’mores cake using those. I am a much better baker now just by watching you.

    I stopped by crumbs and doilies yesterday and tried one of these. It was absolutely delicious! I don’t normally like nuts but they were chewy with the topping, just amazing.

      Shannon McNeill you could always try the vanilla cupcake recipe with Gluten Free Baking Flour, and ensuring your brand of Baking Powder is also gluten free and give it a try!
      I have a friend who uses them both in her brownie mixture and you can’t really tell the difference

    Looks yummy! For your American audience, pecan pie is a bit of a misnomer (thankfully, for me, since I'm not a fan of southern pecan pie which I think is similar (somewhat) to your treacle tart but without the cornmeal and with pecans added). American pecan pie (which originated in the American South) is made with dark corn syrup, butter and sugar (although of course there are many variations). I'm sure you know all of this anyway, but just in case, I thought I'd comment. Cheers! :)

    a real southerner would probably balk at the addition of (the very yankee) maple syrup to something "pecan pie" lol, but i think this looks delicious! (i'm from the west coast so i don't have a horse in that... race, or whatever the idiom is ;--)

    I adore your channel Jemma! I use your recipes all the time and they never fail me. Actually making your unicorn cake for my nieces 8th birthday tomorrow! I'm just wondering if I wanted to do this as an actual pie for Xmas, could I use the same recipe/ measurements in a regular pie dish? Would the cooking time vary at all? Can't wait to try this one!     I made these delicious beauties last weekend and shared them with my colleagues at work... I made alot of people happy! I doubled the amount for the base and the topping and used the brownie recipe from the Biscoff S'mores brownies because I wanted to use my 10 tin. These were so good but one thing was amiss... After pouring the pecan topping onto the brownies when it cooled off it was dry not ooey gooey. The pecans were falling off as I cut them up or as you ate them. Anyone have any ideas as to why this happened? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :-)

    I notice that the brownie mix is half the amount normally used fur one of your 10 x 10 brownies. Does that mean if i want to double this recipe, it should go in a 10 x 10?

    Hopefully you can answer me a question, in the videos & in some photos I've seen the showcases where you have the cupcakes.
    My question is: Are they refrigerated or are they normal showcases? If they are normal, how do you keep cupcakes in good condition without being in the refrigerator?

    I feel like any dessert recipe that doesn't traditionally have chocolate in it like pecan pie or cheesecake, that adding chocolate is a risky proposition.
