    They weren't playing any D. At least not aggressive, he embarrassed them bc they didnt show any toughness. That pushoff is a strong move off the hop step. See the difference in aggressiveness between him and them? He wanted it more

    • @frrmrr4314
      @frrmrr4314 9 лет назад +77

      If they played aggresive on D he wouldve done that dribble between defenders legs thing every time he got the ball.... You acting like you can stop an athletic player when u get that much space.. He can go left and right because its 1 on 1 not 5 on 5 u dig?

    • @reefmulkey1575

    • @frrmrr4314
      @frrmrr4314 9 лет назад +104

      Lol i cam play D dont worry, but if youre a baller or play atleast at a good level, you know theres just so much you can do on onball D, if you play aggresive And tight D on the parameter theres a higher chance he could get by you which means youre depending on your teams paint defemse, since in 1v1 you dont have a paint defense, you shouldnt smother ballhandler... This is just logjcs bro... Every baller kniws theres just so much you can do on defense..

    • @aduley1234567890
      @aduley1234567890 9 лет назад +11

      Lol I am pretty sure they know wtf they are doing. Some guarded him pretty well but only thing that can beat a good defense is a better offense .

    • @TheChallengers6669
      @TheChallengers6669 9 лет назад +8

      Milan de Rooy Milan is so right. You play him tight, you get blown by, you loosen up he strokes a three. being great offensively in one on one doesn't account for multiple defenders. On a side note, some of these guys looked exhausted so their D might not have been at its best level.

  • @adotwhite
    @adotwhite 9 лет назад +53

    Yeah I agree with the other post below, if you play aggressive, he's fast enough to blow by and dunk. If you play soft, he's stroking that J. Best chance you got is contesting the shot and putting a body on him if he blows by you. Dude is legit though!

    Its cool that Dennis will be the on court at times with Seth Curry! Will be interesting on what Rick finally decides... If he sticks with anything or changes it up all season! See I wish we were in basically full rebuild... Why Harris & JJ are still on the team, which will take away minutes from the future guards of this team is aggravating! Dennis, Yogi, Curry, Wes & we have bunch more young guards signed... Id rather give some of the young guards chances to play over vets like JJ & Harris & hopefully we find another solid young player like Yogi! Thats how u rebuild! I just know Rick loves his veterans so we will see how all this works out this yr!

Once smith got to the pros he was already a top notch athlete but needed to grow his skills against other guys who were up there physically like him💯 plus switching hella teams in 6 years doesn’t help growth either plus unrealistic expectations
