Macbook Pro with Swollen Battery - is this because of a SSD upgrade?

I have literally the exact same problem right now, my trackpad was popping out so I opened the back to see that my battery was swollen, so I removed it. I upgraded my MacBook to a Samsung SSD recently as well, I have a feeling it’s Bc of this. Do you recommend I put back in the old Harddrive, I don’t want this to happen again once I replace the battery ?

i have a samsung ssd as well.. and out of nowhere same issue, track pad popping out.. i havent taken the cover off yet to check if it is the battery but looks just like the one you fixed
