Great video - this series is a must watch for anyone planning a trip to AK. Your tip to bring a brush, bucket and soap for washing the rv is spot on - we will have to remember that. Especially with all the dirt roads and construction. We generally enjoy camping in remote locations so the empty campground would not necessarily be a show stopper for us - but the bear factor has to be considered - that mught change things. As we camp we plan to use starlink so i can work - and we try to use solar as much as possible , so question to you is this: how was sun exposure on some of those campgrounds? It look pretty densly wooded but were there any openings? Thanks again for making this - incredibly helpful!

Basically all Provincial (Canadian) Campgrounds have tree cover reducing solar power and eliminating satellites for Dish TV and Starlink. Many of the private campgrounds, both in Canada and Alaska, are essentially parking lots with open sky. Keep in mind, shopping centers are also usually sky-clear places also. Solar is less problematic since you will get decent Solar while driving most of the time. We found that Solar was not as strong up North. Boondocking on turn-outs is usually clear as well. Keeping your Solar Panels clean is essential. And you are right - you must be BEAR-AWARE at all times.
