    2022 is a fresh start, a strong comeback and the girls will go even further, happy to see the return of veteran players, talented young players of the team. USA women's soccer, and all is the perfect momentum for the 2023 World Cup.

    What a year. At the beginning hearing Carli Lloyd talk about the January camp I had a doubt: "'is she still playing ?". Then the wins at the start of the year are even more impressive in hindsight: at the time they looked invincible. Then the Olympics, where we realized they are not invincible, but what a way to bounce back and earn a medal. And finally the changing of the guard - where the new kids duke it out with the Australian Olympic squad. Happy New Year team USA !

      At the start of the 2021 season before the Olympics we had a 111 pt. cushion separating us from the no.# 2 team. After the Olympics, that cushion is now only 30 pts. That's an 80 pt. loss of points following the Olympics. If we continue to win the friendlies as well in the concacaf we can maintain a slim lead over the second place team. the key will be the 2023 World Cup if we win gold that would ensure us a first place standing however if we finished they way we did in the Olympics or worse, there is a very good chance we be will drop from the number ranking

    Year in Review. Sue for a deal you agreed to in CBA, then RESIGN the same deal while your in court against the same deal. Might win this court case though, I hear the Judge is from CA, and now that you don't have to pass classes and "best try" is good enough, maybe they won't understand the CBA's math either. /troll Time to replace the trouble makers on the team that spend more time on twitter with women who spend more time practicing.

    Emily Fox can easily replace both O'hara and Sonnett out of the squad or the starting XI atleast. Rodman, Purce, Smith, Hatch, Sanchez, and Pugh are the future forwards now.

    • @asiazrihen617
      @asiazrihen617 2 года назад +8

      wow completely disagree i’m actually not the biggest fan of fox. O’hara and sonnet have actually been playing incredibly well so I think they deserve their spots on the team

    • @mustard6336
      @mustard6336 2 года назад +5

      i disagree with this, it doesn't seem like she has enough energy or power to over run both Kelley and Sonnetts experience on the pitch and she doesn't look like she connects to the team that well yet. Just not a big fan of her or the other rookies actually. All of them seem out of place and they could have definitely been better if Vlatko hadn't switched up the lineups every single game. Its just a bad timing for the rookies to be there and I think that they are the future but we don't need the future as of now. 2022 will be a great start to rebuilding and reconnecting with all your teammates and I think it would be a good chance that the rookies might fit more in, but the veterans who are now Sonnett and O'Hara and Lindsey Horan who is the new #10 are the basis of the team now. They are the ones who create the foundation and they are probably going to be the new ''Alex Morgan'' or ''Carli Lloyd''.

    • @asiazrihen617
      @asiazrihen617 2 года назад +4

      @@mustard6336 completely agree the only rookies that I think deserve a spot on the team are macario, rodman, davidson etc but I just think vlatko is moving too fast trying to add all these new players.

    • @merchantprincess7010
      @merchantprincess7010 2 года назад +1

      @@mustard6336 O'hara will be 35 come WC23. She will be a slow liability. Sonnett doesn't really have anything special about her hence she can be easily replaced, at least for the starting XI. Emily Fox is an elevated combination of both if the Australian 2 game series is an indication. Her and Ertz will be an impenetrable combo. I agree with you that the greenhorns needs some blending with the squad but they have a full year to do that. Horan, Lavelle, and Ertz are the true next pillars of this team btw.

    If I was a 15 or up ranked male soccer player in the US I would while the getting is good identify as female and go get me some of that equal pay .. in fact i would try to recruit every ranked kid out there and try out in mass .. better dough than they will get anywhere else for the rest of their careers .. wonder what kind of bitching would then ensue ..
