Nick Walker, Hadi Chopan,Derek Lunsford:💪💪💪O🔥
Dont know if Samson is cramping up in his quad in most muscular in these photos or what but he has great separation in his right quad. When he is flexing it in abs and thigh its just smooth, no separation what so ever. Weird.
Honestly when Nick became one of the top guys i did not like his physique. With time i got over his structure and now i look at him very differently. Man sad "f*ck it, i have a bad structure, ima outwork it". And damn me he did. He have very good midsection in almost every pose despite it being wide. He controls it perfectly and has the most insane separation in his abs. His work ethics and dedication is on another level man, love that.
In this comparison i agree with you, Nick takes it. Samson have more potential but he has yet to capitalize on it
Also I get that Samson wins hands down on shape and structure. But nicks waist isn't nearly as wide as people want to talk about. He does have a good x frame
No offense here to Samson, Nicks arms and back and midsection are fantastic here. I do like the more downsized Nick than the NY pro or Mr O Nick. I do think he needs more quad sweeps to really blow people away.

Arnold put his 2 cents in and didn't like Nick winning the year before.
If you combined the physique of both, you'd get Michal Krizo lol. Something that just stumbled upon my mind. Maybe even an idealistic version of the two because he's more natural looking. I think they're both where they should be in placing. I don't think Nick Walker deserves top 3, nor does Samson deserve top 2. Nick looks kinda shredded for modern standards, but he's not even close to Hadi or the 90s guys.
BDB: There is literally nothing going on in Nick's rear delts in the BDB just like Samson and both of their backs are flat. Samson has a bit more roundness, Walker much more width and overall size so he wins there.
FBD: Samson, no contest. Samson looks so much more pleasing the extra 2-3 inches Nick has in arms don't matter.
FLS: Samson, no commentary needed. A professional top 5 bodybuilder should know how to hit mandatories, big L for Nick.
Side chest: Also Samson. Again, better posing, structure and size. Even his arms look bigger than Nicks with how you scaled them, but it will probably not translate to real life.
RLS: Could go either way, but I prefer Samson. His calves are closer to proportion to his quads than Nicks are, Nick looks kinda chickenlegged/rhinoassed here lol if you get my drift. Samson also beats him in taper.
ST: I'd give this to Nick Walker even if his posing wasn't absolutely indicative of somebody with so little flexibility that he'd tear a hamstring while standing up. Much. much better overall, but damn does his posing suck compared to Samson.
Abs and Thigs: Now this is a major surprise. Nick actually destroys Samson in the shots you've shown. Samson's gut is out of control. It's not even a contest, Nick wins 100%.
MM: Also another Nick win. Samson isn't wide enough for his height to beat Nick. Nick is thicker, wider, denser. Samson looks like a nerdy skinny, lanky guy in comparison.
Overall, I give the win to Samson (he really took over in the middle game), but I also think both of these guys have a safe ceiling.

Its funny how nicks midsection was more of a strength against the mass with class guy. Hopefully Samsons midsection trims up with better conditioning.
I know others are going to disagree bc they see nick as "the fridge" automatically, but it's true- Samson had some fairly notable distention going. Nicks is wider but he's keeping it under control, he know he has too, it's under a microscope every time he steps on stage
@@projectbodybuilding i don’t get how nick is always criticized for it, people have been ignoring Samsons gut for a while now. I’d rather have a flat but wide waist than a bubble gut that’s slightly thinner.
Edit. Nicks stomach is by no means flat but it’s better than Samson.
I get what you're saying, Samson has had a pass for awhile, but to me it's just so bad now, at least it was at this show. I'm with you I'd rather have a thicker waist with a controlled stomach than a smaller waist with a bubble gut

As I was going back and looking at the photos of this contest he was a lot better than even I gave him credit for, expect comparisons with him, in the near future
I know I'll get hate for this, but I think of Nick had been at the O he would have won or been a close 2nd. I think hadi SHOULD have won , but it was a very political call. Derek has no chest, delts or arms. So he falls way off to everyone else. And you can't have him winning based off 2 shots, rear double and rear lat. And I think Nick would have been improved from here.
I couldn't agree more, I think Nick should've been top 2 with Hadi, but realistically he probably would've been behind Samson because the ifbb doesn't want that

Yeah that was actually something I thought about at the end. In my opinion nick SHOULD win based on my standards, but the IFBB seems to be moving in a different direction
