- What's up KickITWithRuss Fam! Hope you all had a wonderful New Year! So to kick off the new year, my buddy and I decided to build some Razor Pocket Mods! Yup, we just had to be different. We decided to pick some up since we knew it was that time of the year when our local stores will start stocking them for the holidays again. We pretty much had it all planned and visioned. So the next step was to turn it into a reality. Just a few weeks in we went for it and here we are today with our pocket mods. Now that where in a full running stage as you can say, I'm definitely not done with pushing the power much further. I have a few more new parts that will be added to the pocket mod so stay tuned for the updates. Someone was throwing one of these out I picked it up the battery was dead I charged the battery the motor was broke I originally had a 24 volt I put a 36 volt and w me on it I got it to go 25 mph and I’m 237 pounds

My sister gave me a new Razor pod scooter for Christmas a yr and a half ago. I wasn't sure what to think at first and didn't want to hurt her feelings. After riding that cute mini pink and purple Vespa I fell in love with her. Freedom and fun. Easy to ride. I always ride safe and obey the rules of the road. I wear a helmet with skulls on it and everyone wants to know all about my little " Hardly Harley". I tell everyone ," It's Daddy was a Harley and it's momma was a Honda kick and go and she's ' just hardcore'. No I don't feel like Barbie when I'm riding her, I feel free, happy, safe & saving money not buying gas. She holds up to 170 lbs, I'm a Mom and Grandmother 68 yrs old and only 5'1" and weight 117 lbs plenty of weight left for groceries. I'm learning how to take good care of her and the possibilities of upgrading. Your video shows me how far I can go and how much longer they can last. Thank you for sharing your video, ride like the wind and let em know how hardcore those cute little scooters can be. Nice work your scooters look great and are well cared for. Adam twice like that it was a 500 w it's a C1 phantom and at the beginning it does not sound good at all it sounds like it like it's binding up and it sounds terrible but after get going oh my god it's pretty quick I've got like 48 volt controller and 48 volt battery and boy doesn't go like 22 mph

Been finding these and dirt bikes on various trash piles along my route. I have 3 of them now! They work now but I'm not trying to make that fast but it's cool to see the possibilities.

I just found one today at a dumpster. Purple one in really good condition. They even left the charger with it 😅
@GeigerCounterVirtualMuseum Yes goodness! Good find! I'm on full alert now for everyone I see. Just found a Powerwheels Dune Racer that came with a charger as well but I immediately switched to a 18v Ryobi battery and it absolutely flies foe what it is. It's pink,my 3 year old daughter already loves it!

This May be a new hobby for me 😅 didn’t know these ebikes could reach this kind of speeds, insane! Had a jetson bolt pro before but the razor pocket seems more fun and can do more mods to it!
Actually the Jetson Bolt Pro can accomplish the same.. till this day I still have mines thats in the 60's. You can still fold it and pedal when needed 👍🏽.. I think i still have a The short clips uploaded. Check it out🤙🏽

If it feels like when it's going it feels jerky it's probably one of your face wires the three wires sometimes the colors don't match up it's weird I know so it's usually shoot I forgot it's one of the colors I think it's a green it's a try reversing the three wires and have it on a stand and if you give it gas and it goes smooth that's it but if you get it gas and it's jerks when it goes that's is one of your face wires packs backwards in this figure it out you have to figure it out it's like it makes no sense why it does that but it's probably one of the wires backwards😊

@@Jorda5s I kept the stock tires they work its just the Bike itself thats sketchy but.. i got it to 80+mph now so im good with it.

Everything off aliexpress.. except the battery.. its a custom battery made to fit the pocket mod. hub motor is a 5k 8".. controller is a fardriver 72300

I just subscribed to be honest I have a pocket mod it's pink just sitting in my yard needs battery..My 7 year old daughter just got the Razor 24v dirt quad and I was wondering if I could do something with the pocket mod so I can cruise around some trails with my daughter..I never messed around with anything like this I'm a "ROOKIE"💯..I just figured since it's been sitting around the yard maybe I could do something with it ..That's how I found your channel..I never thought Adults can ride these.. Any suggestions..I don't need nothing to crazy just want it capable for dirt trails..Thank you...
You can budget that build buy finding the stock electronics such as Throttle, Controller off a MX500/650, sx500, rsf650 and just use the stock motor thats currently on the pocket mod.. Those controllers can take 36volts and simply you can find a stock jetson battery or use drill batteries and get the adaptors off ebay for your source of power tool batt.. Thats a basic setup just to give it more power.. Hope that helps

no the grey one belongs to a buddy of mines which i built for.. Still in the high 60's...The red one goes 77 which is still the same at the moment

Both are good.. fiido is much easier to build.. less fabrication work

nope.. The bella dont come with mounts.. Belleza do though with the 16" wheels

Once you do the custom brackets.. the brakes install is like any other MX razor👌🏽

I shocked your dropouts aren't splitting due to that overpower hub motor
I check them so often.. just to make sure.. but so far they seem good.. i normally out some marking also to see if anything moves from axle nut, etc..

74' Puch moped...62mph. drum brakes & bicycle tires. The sketchiest of sketchy. I'd rather do 180mph+ on a super sport. HANDS DOWN. Having smaller diameter tires...so much sketchier.
Forsure man👌🏽.. Also what even makes it sketchy is the stock bars is actually up to your knees when your sitting so you aint got much room lol
