Just found your channel today. Been a Keane fan myself since I was about 6 I think, my Mum likes them too and she always put the CD of Hopes and Fears on in the car, memories of driving down to France for holidays between 2004 and 2007, and Tom’s voice singing us all the way there, naturally I picked up all the lyrics they inspired me that much. Over the past year or two, I’m 24 now, and I wanted to find an adult identity in music. I found it in synth-pop and new wave, Depeche Mode to be specific, they’re my favourite band now, but I kept hold of Keane in the back of my mind because they had had such an impact on me being so young. Been listening to them a lot lately and more than ever in these uncertain times, Tory nutters breaking this country into little pieces and what have you, Tom’s voice and Tim’s songwriting speak to me and console me more than ever. I’ve skimmed through your other videos, you were at the Cannock Chase gig back in June I think, me and my Mum were out back in the crowd, was our first Keane gig (I know seems ridiculous right after how much I’ve just gushed over them 😂) but no, only started getting out and about concert-going quite recently. That’s my own neck of the woods Cannock Chase, live just down the road in Burton, but you actually follow Keane and Tom around for all their gigs? Hun I wish I had the money to be able to do that, I managed to do 7 gigs and a big festival for 2022, that’s all I’ve been able to afford and still keep myself going what with the cost of living crisis.
