- 1999 analogue POV on Lethal Weapon Pursuit, a unique steel duelling coaster that operated at Warner Brothers Movie World in Germany between 1996 and 2006. The coaster changed its name to Cop Car Chase, and the park to Movie Park Germany, but this unusual coaster is missed by all lucky enough to have ridden it.

It was a rough ride, but the indoor inversions were spectacular and really well placed for a duelling coaster

Oh yes, that was the best roller coaster in Movie World. With the first Season Pass, we raced 15 times in a row in the evening 😊, until the staff kindly asked us to finally leave the ride😂. It's a pity that the roller coaster no longer exists.😢
It was a really fun and completely unique roller coaster...real shame it closed up
Awesome to find this. I visited WB Movieworld back in de days and remember the entrance was pretty well hidden within the facade. Also visited when WB had left and all effects on the LW Pursuit were disabled. Such a shame. It was a really nice and sharp coaster with the short cars.

Shame they removed this cool little ride. My father rode this coaster back in the day and he says it was very fun. I wish I could've ridden it :(

I can remember it had problema always when we went to movieworld, but the ride was awesome!
Miss the Warner Bros. Movie World days.. now they replaced nearly all legendary WB rides with some random Theming..
Even the Gremlins ride!

Unfortunately for such a great ride this was my first ride ever. I was not ready for it at the time and it pretty much greatly contributed to my fear of roller coasters. 😔
The following hour or two I spent by myself on the chain carousel that they put up right next to it, while my siblings kept rocking the Cop Car Chase. Great memories regardless, thank you for uploading this 😄👍

Do you have any idea as to why they removed it? It looked like a fun ride.
+Sean Flaharty It was fun...I have seen some comments online that it was removed due to high maintenance costs, but that's the only information I am aware of. Real shame it went.
+davidjellis It was also problematic too.
+Sean Flaharty I heard that the footers would have been the problem. Wrong materials and building during winter weren´t the best idea. ^^

Although I was really young, when I first (and at the same time last) saw that coaster, I still remember how it looked like! I was 6 and wasn't even able to take a ride...so nice to see how it would have been :D thanks for uploading! And if you ever want to visit the park again, I would'nt recommend it anymore... since about 10 years it's called Movie Park, all the liceses on WB are lost and the feeling is gone! Sad story!
I have visited once since that 1999 trip and agree that a lot of the character went with the WB licenses

Ich glaube das was mit der Bahn von Anfang an was nicht stimmte..... die war irgendwie immer kaputt! 2003 zum Beispiel fuhr die fast gar nicht und wenn dann nur eine Seite. Mir hat einer damals erzählt, der da gearbeitet hat, dass die Züge Löcher hatten und neue kommen sollten...aber dan kamen die falschen.... ach ja trotzdem eine tolle Bahn! :-(
Hab auch gehört das die Statik zum Ende nicht sehr gut war

I don't know - I believe it was unreliable and cost a lot to maintain
