i am 12 and samsung j7 it only charge to 86 percent what i do is i deleted my app that consue really high battery percentage and clear cache then it succesfully charged to 92 then i rebooted it after this it charged to 100 percent dont try mine cuz im not sure if it will just worsen the effect

Always stay blessed, so my younger granddaughter was using her mother's old phone which was samsung M31 and out of blue it stopped charging when her parents were on a business trip. I am a bit old to even see properly so i couldn't figure out the problem, her sister tried but there was no sign of happiness or positivity. She started to break down so i told her to search on my phone about the same, and thankfully she found your video which helped her the most! The second method really worked. My Samsung A10s was having charging issues for like 2 weeks now. It says charging but it won't charge. I came around this video and tried pressing the power button and the volume up button method. It didn't even take 2 hrs for it to get fully charged from 48% . It became 100% I one and a half hours time. Thank you so much for this great tip. Hope it works for the others too. 👍🏻🙌🏻💜

Oh my god, thank you so much! My mom's phone stopped charging at 29% and it would only work if the charger is plugged in. If I remove the charger, it would turn off on its own. I tried your trick and after four hours and some additional efforts, it's back to normal.

If it doesn't work... try cleaning the charging port on the phone since it has dust in it and could stop the charging. .. that is what I did and boom... its back to normal

After a frustrating weekend trying to fix a Samsung A40, I can add one method to your list for when the phone only shows a ring with a lightning: Drain the battery completely!
Do this by booting into recovery mode as explained in the video (for samsung A40: disconnect USB, press vol up + power and insert USB, release buttons when the phone boots).
(At this stage I wiped the cache I do not know I that's needed or helps. I did not need to do a factory reset.)
In recovery mode select "reboot into bootloader". This screen is much brighter and will drain the battery faster. Now remove the USB and leave the phone to drain completely.
When the phone has shut down all you need to do is to connect the USB power again and keep your fingers crossed. Mine first showed the ring with lightning, but then immediately the 0% and the ring started pulsating indicating that it was charging. A few minutes later I could boot the phone normally.
Background: I attached a cable that was faulty and the phone first showed a Slow Charging message, then it just went black. Pressing power did nothing. Later I realized I could boot into recovery mode, but that did not help a lot since I first wanted to do a back up (which was way to late now).
Maybe this helps someone. Maybe it was just dumb luck.

The second fix worked for me in the second attempt!
The first time my phone just charged in recovery mode and when I switched it on the charging indicator was still not back. The next day re charged the cellphone in recovery mode and the charging indicator is back! Thanks a ton!
