1. If you squeeze a truck against an auto-paver you can step onto its platform directly. It's better than driving the truck onto the stairs. 2. Porters do exactly the same thing as you and you can tag along with them. They move really slow but at least you aren't alone. 3. You can drop used/destroyed equipment from the directional button menu, and add bloodbags to your utility pouch. If you don't feel like going to the cargo menu. 4. When the Odradek starts spinning fast and turns orange, don't start holding your breath. The odradek is just telling you that you are mighty close to one. When you hear that loud noise and the handprints appear, THAT is when you want to hold your breath. Try it out, because it's just like the cutscene. When you hold your breath the hunter doesn't know where you are at. 5. When you come across another player's structure that's really helpful, like an important zipline, give it a like and go into Bridge Links. That player should be at the top of your list and you should add them to your strand contacts. 6. Change your shoes when you see the foot guage turn orange because you will experience reduced performance. 7. Also your stamina has 4 levels that change the way Sam naturally runs. Keeping your stamina in the 4th bar makes you move more energetically. If you play with the HUD off, you will be able to tell what your stamina is at by analyzing how Sam moves and his facial expressions. Know your limits! This is a game that shows how the turtle wins the race, not the rabbit.
8. If your shoes are destroyed, you can dismantle them instead of having to drop or recycle them. It's slightly more convenient at times. Or you can try not to destroy them if you want to recycle them. What would you need the resins for, though?
I've hit porters by accident a few times. Once, while driving the truck (they aren't that quick to get out of the way) and a few more times trying to access the terminal and the porter happened to be standing too close. Same button to access terminal and hit people, and my old controller is a bit wacky.
It genuinely never even occurred to me to try! I’m usually so happy to see them, I’d be too busy wishing we could have a conversation to think about clobbering them. (I have accidentally brushed them with a truck though.)
I accidently hit one with my truck... no I always slow down shortly before reaching the facility. It was painful to watch this arsehole beat up the porters.

If you headshot a mule with the bola gun they become unconscious so you don’t have to kick em on the ground. Also if you book headshot them while they’re chasing you through water they go unconscious and a little life jacked pops out to keep them from drowning

3:15 you can just deliver the lost cargo right there at the Distro center terminal. No need to put it in a post box. Every time I hit a distro center I pull out and offload all lost cargo, then instantly deliver lost cargo (entrust) at same terminal
Extra tip for #8. While sitting in the Spring, press the Touch Pad (after Stamina is replenished) and Sam will start this Japanese song. Keep pressing it to complete the bit of the song. ALSO if you do this and other players signs are nearby, they will join in on the song. Complete the song with them and you'll receive likes not only from BB, but those signs as well.
#11 is part of the story progress when you get to the weather station. Not a tip or secret. #10 is explained the first time you used her service. You can't bring stuff with you.
Use Sticky Gun to get spread out packages and cargo down in Vog and up high. You can catch it with one hand as it is coming back to you. Always carry Grenade and Rocket launcher on you. Sometimes it's just best to purposely allow a BT to get you so you can just finish off a boss quickly and move on and pick up cargo in a nice stress free, sunny environment without Time fall to worry about chipping away at your sht. I noticed mules don't come out of their tents during timefall. .. you can raid their postbox's while it pours...try it.
Whaaa, how does Sam remember Iphones? Those are closer to Elder's time Also with the NPC porters, when they hold a package out for you to take, if you offload something to the ground they will pick it up. Its considered trading with them, for the Trophy.
Maybe, but according to some emails in game, he mostly avoided people and hung out with his sister on the beach a lot.. and his mom was super cold to him, because she couldnt touch him.. Its possible tho, maybe it would a sad bid to try to connect with her son, by showing him parts of the old world?

Another one is when people construct safehouses right outside distro centres- like, dude, it’s a distro centre, they have rooms! Complete waste of bandwidth. I scrub em off my map on sight. It is good to see a generator and timefall shelter at every outpost tho. Saves you carrying container repair spray and keeps the vehicles and skeleton charged for long hauls.
@@117Industries If you see online postboxes, safehouses and whatever, you don't actually need to dismantle them unless they're completely useless - they don't take up any of your bandwidth. Only your own structures will use your bandwidth.

11:25 you also lose likes if you kill terrorists/mules and don’t dispose of body in incinerators I read. They said it was something insane like losing 15k likes. Not 100% sure as I’ve never done it myself. But multiple people in the forum said it happened to them as well so it wasn’t an isolated individual claiming it.
I did that yesterday because they where carying some rare cargo I needed for the veteran porter (that guy that takes years to lvl up) and now I got minus 13500 likes from the porters and didn’t even get the cargo I wanted, so they take more then just 100 likes😅
The number 1 tip watch out porters will also jump in front of your vehicle sometimes! They will go way out of their way for you to run them over sometimes

So instead of bored or stressed out about the delivery, the game told us to keep relax and enjoy the next scene when we got trough or finish the missions. :)
Everyone knew that, it not that they give you likes. They give you more likes if you deliver it directly to them rather than have another player do it.
If you are at the ruins north of Craftman's place you can easily escape the squid whale there. Simple go on the ramp shaped building south of where you're dragged and place a ladder bridge on the furthest south part of the building. Walk about halfway across it and you've left the combat area successfully escaping and leaving the area free of BTs for a nice little while.
... I've been playing the game for a very long time, I think I got about 600 hours logged. I knew all of these except the one - Where Sam talks about iPhones... That's so wild...
It's night time the first time you arrive in Lake Knot. Very short period, about 2 minutes-ish before the game forces you to sleep in the distro center to progress the story

@edepot You can also escape the mini BT bosses by escaping the tar arena (after getting dragged under). A speed skeleton allows you to jump out easily, then the weather instantly clears too without having to take down the BT boss :)

#19 isn't due to day/night, it's because you haven't connected south knot city to the UCA yet, that's also the only time it's ever night in the game, the first time you go to South Knot City

Fighting a porter isn't the only way to lose likes, you lose them a couple of times during cutscenes with Heartman but you receive more to make up for it before the cutscene is over.

Heartman will also dock you likes (it’s either 1 or 20, for some reason my brain can’t pick between the two) when you scratch on his turntable. He gives them back though. He’s got a heart after all.

yeah fam any porter/mule/terrorist out on the field is open season if you want. you will however have to carry each corpse to the incinerator to dispose of properly. or you'll have to find your bt body in the seam and press triangle to reload your most recent save and it will fix all the voidouts and you can continue where you left off.
Cargo destinations aren’t ever post boxes. Nor can you carry 70 plus items so actually it’s easier and you accumulate more likes by just selecting and offloading 70 plus items and delivering them
You can get the free likes without a postbox and far more quickly. Simply off load all the lost cargo from the share locker. Back out and go to make deliveries. Deliver lost cargo. Huge amount of likes every time. Can also be done at any busy post box or safe house.
Yo just started this game in the behinning of November this year. Grear video, but I am looking for something very specific if you have heard about it. There are floating blobs in the sky above the tar like ocean far north of the incinerator when you are travelling around the mountain. Do you think you can make a vid on that, because there is nothing and no one seeming to know about those creepy things.

You loose likes if a structure you built or possibly anyone is destroyed. For instance you may build a bridge for easy access then later build a road which destroys said bridge structure. This will loose you likes too, and that is so annoying when your cargo is knocked off by low door ways😂
there is another way to lose likes: leave a body in a bridges facility while going to rest in personal room. (the body will get taken care of by Bridges CD team but you will lose 200 likes and a npc will tell you via radio you that you should have taken care of the body before resting)
She was not really clear on that. For example, the shirt, pants, shoes, dreamcatcher, Q-Pid, and fragile bracelet are ok, but why not glasses (it is as regular as shirts and pants)

I always wonder what would happen if you attack a Porter NPC, but they're just too serene, so I could never bring myself to do it xD Also, can we get a guide on how to deal with BT's without the odradek? I'm at a mission right now, which has this requirement and I don't know how to proceed. I have 2 options, but none of them are ideal. First, being that I have to egg on hunters and escape. Second being get caught by a hunter and the escaping or defeating the catcher. The area I'm in has BT's 260 degrees around me, and I need to push through that area without an odradek.

It's night time the first time you arrive in Lake Knot. Very short period, about 2 minutes-ish before the game forces you to sleep in the distro center to progress the story
This game has a day/night cycles.. there’s no way you played consistently and never caught this.
@@SamuraiCypher Untrue. Night is scripted and the times you may confuse the game to be night time during free roam might just be during one of the harsh timefall storms in BT areas
@edepot You can also escape the mini BT bosses by escaping the tar arena (after getting dragged under). A speed skeleton allows you to jump out easily, then the weather instantly clears too without having to take down the BT boss :)

#19 isn't due to day/night, it's because you haven't connected south knot city to the UCA yet, that's also the only time it's ever night in the game, the first time you go to South Knot City

Fighting a porter isn't the only way to lose likes, you lose them a couple of times during cutscenes with Heartman but you receive more to make up for it before the cutscene is over.

yeah fam any porter/mule/terrorist out on the field is open season if you want. you will however have to carry each corpse to the incinerator to dispose of properly. or you'll have to find your bt body in the seam and press triangle to reload your most recent save and it will fix all the voidouts and you can continue where you left off.
Just select all the lost cargo and unload it and then go back to terminal and deliver lost cargo.
You get more likes if people use your postbox for transactions
Cargo destinations aren’t ever post boxes. Nor can you carry 70 plus items so actually it’s easier and you accumulate more likes by just selecting and offloading 70 plus items and delivering them
I'm sure someone already commented but you can deliver lost cargo to the same terminal you grabbed it from you dont even need to leave the menu
But you get WAY LESS likes that way. You get WAY MORE likes just by walking a few feet to your own postbox
You can get the free likes without a postbox and far more quickly. Simply off load all the lost cargo from the share locker. Back out and go to make deliveries. Deliver lost cargo. Huge amount of likes every time. Can also be done at any busy post box or safe house.
Yo just started this game in the behinning of November this year. Grear video, but I am looking for something very specific if you have heard about it. There are floating blobs in the sky above the tar like ocean far north of the incinerator when you are travelling around the mountain. Do you think you can make a vid on that, because there is nothing and no one seeming to know about those creepy things.

You loose likes if a structure you built or possibly anyone is destroyed. For instance you may build a bridge for easy access then later build a road which destroys said bridge structure. This will loose you likes too, and that is so annoying when your cargo is knocked off by low door ways😂
there is another way to lose likes: leave a body in a bridges facility while going to rest in personal room. (the body will get taken care of by Bridges CD team but you will lose 200 likes and a npc will tell you via radio you that you should have taken care of the body before resting)

Also, you can shoot mules in the head with the bola gun, and it knocks them out right then instead of having to kick them afterwards.
Aaah I wonder why I never needed to kick them, I always came to them after and press square but Sam won't kick them. Maybe that's why

The Bola gun,if u aim for the head with it it knocks them out right away given them a star strand instead of the two circles, u missed that should be with the mule part
Aim your bola gun to any enemy's neck or head so they automatically fall unconscious.

I always wonder what would happen if you attack a Porter NPC, but they're just too serene, so I could never bring myself to do it xD Also, can we get a guide on how to deal with BT's without the odradek? I'm at a mission right now, which has this requirement and I don't know how to proceed. I have 2 options, but none of them are ideal. First, being that I have to egg on hunters and escape. Second being get caught by a hunter and the escaping or defeating the catcher. The area I'm in has BT's 260 degrees around me, and I need to push through that area without an odradek.
You need to look for the wires in the sky. Try to go on a path with no wires leading down in front of you
After you escape the BT tar you can pee on it and the tar will disappear.
