We have a TON of mint as well and my favorite thing is to add it with cucumbers and lemon to make a flavored water! It looks super fancy but it’s so easy!

I have canned various foods with my dad since before I can remember. He used to make his own applesauce once a year and I never even had storebought applesauce until I went to preschool! My dad LOVES the original Ball Blue canning book that has been in print for around 100 years. We can once a year and I would highly recommend it if you're at all interested in canning as it has great tips for beginners! I'll definitely be purchasing a copy to use when I have a home and family of my own one day.

Also, there are a ton of different Ball canning books on the market, but the specific one I'm referencing is the Ball Blue Book: Guide to Preserving. It's a thin paperback book but it's full of information! I believe the 37th edition is what is currently on the market.

Allie, mint is good for digestion and makes a simple tea add to water, make a face spritz, and keep in the fridge. you can cook with mint and add it to lamb, and other meat in the Mediterrane diet. I love your yard it's so beautiful, we don't have that here, no open spaces in our area, no green area, and we have a drought west coast problems. please make a video as you learned what to plant, I can't for the life of me grow anything it dies,
but I would love to have a big garden, simple steps would be great. love the cat she is so beautiful.

    With the mint:
Make homemade lemonade and add some mint
Use it as a spider repellent. It helps to repel certain bugs because they don't like the smell. We diffuse it! The oil that is.
Also you can make flavour water with lemon slices mint, and Cucumber.
Also you can chew on just the leaf to freshen your breath

My mom and a few friends I know have been experiencing a lot of hair loss, and a couple of the drs they have seen said it is now linking to people who previously had COVID. I think it mostly affects certain women with thyroid issues if I remember right

Tfs. I grew chocolate mint one time, when it rained outside you could smell it so strongly inside, and that's what I used it for was to make my house smell good and made tea when my grandson or son got sick. Can't wait to see your new home and I'm trying to stock up on food item's. Hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs from Tennessee. Laura

Mint is easy to dehydrate. Then make a looseleaf tea with it. Great for headaches and nausea. You can also make a tincture with the leaves.
Also, you can make your own rosemary oil and use that for your hair. It does wonders!

For mint we slice up the leaves and add them to salads with other herbs, you can make your own fresh salad dressing. Shrimp spring rolls are good with a leaf of mint in them. Scones with chopped mint leaves. Lots of options!
