True. Back then all the prime movie channels were just started and only had one of each. Now you have like 8 different HBO, Cinemax etc channels. It was a fun time to watch movies back then. Nowadays they just make mostly crap and think of anything they can that will get a reaction just to draw ppl in. There will never be another time like the 80’s and 90’s when it comes to entertainment
Having been to Bahrain a few times in the Navy as well, we can leave base and the movies off base are just all the big Hollywood movies. Lot of expats there as well.
