I've not played Undertale, but I have played Grim Fandango and I can see how this character style would fit perfectly into that universe. A beautiful, clean and neat design here. Simple by your usual standards but not lacking in detail. Lovely work as always!
Such an awesome dynamic pose! It gets across so much personality and emotion. It's clear he's absolutely astounded and overjoyed by his own cooking ability.
You did papyrus so well! IIRC- A neat fact is that papyrus and sans are also loosly based on an unfinished comic series called "helvetica"! Primarily the skeleton character named Mr. Goodheavens and his comrad steak(yeas thats his name). The Series revovles around a skeleton named helvetica ariving in the afterlife as a skele with no memory of who he was previously. He gets picked up by ppl called "greeters" who drive him into town to show him how the world works and hes left to figure out his life as a skeleton :D
i love the piece (huge undertale fan too!!) but it sucks to see you take a betterhelp sponsorship given how much info there is out there about their business practices :((
"Oh, he mentioned Grim Fandango!" >And if you get that reference, congratulations! You are *old*! "... I'm going to go crawl into a grave now-" (But, in all seriousness, what a delightful Papyrus! You've done him justice ♥)
Absolutely wonderful! I heard you saying the joke about Grim Fandango, guessed the punchline 2 seconds before you said it, then still cackled when you said it. Love that. Also love that you're trying to get some woodwork in! Heck yeah, multimaterial crafter do your thing!
I think for texture on this texturing some styrene to make it look like cast iron might work, modelers do it for WW2 tanks that were cast iron and a silicon stamp would make it easy to cover rounded spots.
The sponsers you have in this video are absolute scumbaggery villians as a company, but you’re a good creative and did a good job on this piece, and the sponsorship pays your bills so yeah, it’s fine.
This is so emotive and expressive and is perfect. Like, I know no art is ever perfect in the eyes of the creator but I love him. This is so incredible. It makes me happy
I really don’t know how to put this in words, but something about this sculpture is screaming pure perfection to me! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more truthful depiction of my favorite character, and it’s frightening me how accurate not only the detail, but also the posture and 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓕𝓮𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 of this is!
Look at that cool dude! He's so awesome. I'm an artist but I can't sculpt for anything so I'm very impressed! I first played Undertale in late 2016 when I was in a very, very dark time in my life. It was a small but very needed spark of joy, laughter, and sincerity when I needed it the most. It gave me an escape from the real world for a bit, and connected me to friends I still have today, and was genuinely one of the things that kept me going. Eagerly looking forward to Deltarune Chapters 3-7. I hope our favorite skeleton makes an appearance. (I also like Grim Fandango haha. And Skulduggery Pleasant. I like skeletons with a sense of humor. Humerus Bones, if you will.)
The posing is genuinely immaculate here. Personally I don't like how his arms connect to his torso in this one, but everything else is amazing and seeing the final showcase at the end with the rotations and different angles was surreal, the vibes in this one are just so good and true to his character.
Dude this SO good and even in this more realistic style it still captures his flamboyant personality and silliness . However, if you make one of the skelabros ya gadda make the other..
Oh he is absolutely gorgeous. You did an amazing job! I thought it was so creative how you used the foam and saw dust for the spaghetti. Really ties everything together 💕
This is so epic and it’s really cool to see someone else have a really similar creative process! I would love to see you take your knowledge of anatomy and push those shapes into more cartoonish and dynamic designs and poses, when i heard you reference Coco as an inspiration of your style i was really hoping to see you push the boundaries of what muscles and ligaments you can exaggerate to get a realistica but really fun and dynamic sculpture
You are so incredibly skilled and it makes me happy that someone as proficient as yourself is constantly experimenting and using art and video production as a learning experience you really inspire me
I love your work and I love your passion! But betterhelp... Does nobody know they sold their user's info? People were getting ads of antidepressants and most of the "therapists" aren't even qualified. Now they're acting as if nothing happened
I really like it, Papyrus looks so cool as he should XD Only thing I wished was done was that his jaw was open as he in the "date" with Papyrus or even in his battle, he opens his jaw a lot and is really expressive, so it would give it that little touch for it to be really great and in character.
despite having notifications turned on, youtube did not told me about this video you are one of the best channels on youtube. please keep up the good work
I’m sure these projects are done pretty far apart but this project FEELS like a break, more relaxed and fun for you compared to your last sculpture. It feels really good, very lighthearted and it looks like you’re allowing yourself to be a little less hard about all the details. Overall, wonderful piece as always.
as a long time undertale fan this is so so amazing everything was so well executed and im blown away that this piece was "just for fun" keep doing what you're passionate about!! :D fantastic job man!
hello im a 3d artist and one thing that really jumped to me was your talk about leavng texture on your rt works as it reminds me of how i add texture to 3d objects for metal try saning in 1 direction to give a metal look the look thats left on the object would look dreat for a rough wall or concrete and very little bumps for anything loos and fleshy or fabric like
Really captured that Nyeh heh heh-ness. Also I could see Papyrus getting into pottery, struggling ;-;, but would definitely use the “successful” attempts for the spaghetti.
Hey Art! Question? Kimda goofy..but i have ZERO knowledge of clay sculpture and my first video of yours was the Blackest and Whitest Paints and i was Wondering if u could do that and make a Sculpture of "Art The Clown" from The Terrifier Series. I mean you are ART after all 😉 lol. Anyways i think it would be a great way to come back to the channel and fitting. I really want this sculpture and seeing u construct/with what materials would be nice. Thanks!!!
19:17 I'm already working on something im as proud of as Papyrus is as that bowl of spaghetti. I clicked this video for background ambience while I make it. I'm cutting down a Trackmaster 2009 Percy into a Railway Series Percy
Hey, don't beat yourself up over Papyrus' armor! isn't it the case that he hand made it? So it works for him The sculpture is absolutely wonderful, btw :) His face turned out so cute, and the gold was a lovely touch. there's so much passion and movement in the sculpture, too. Always a joy to see you work!
hello, undertale fan here, YES, you absolutely captured Papyrus' essence because i can absolutely see him doing this. he looks so flippin' happy with his spaghetti. i love the pose, too. It just makes me so happy witnessing this ^^
Papyrus looks absolutely wonderful!! Ive been waiting for someone to make a sculpture of him and/or sans, so im just happy it finally happened and looks so good!! Did you do this for the 9th anniversary, or was it just a happy accident? Also the only thing i can say would have been cool is if you gave him his silly sparkly eyes, the ones he gets when hes emotional and excited. I think that would have really sealed it. But even without it, this is amazing
Love it! This put a big smile on my face, I enjoy getting to watch your process and am so thankful that you share it with us! Also, I haven't played Undertale yet, but I've been on a retro-rpg kick lately and while this isn't *that* old, I think it'll slot neatly between FFIV and FFVI :)
as an undertale fan, you’ve absolutely done papyrus justice and captured his essence. EXCELLENT WORK
I'm happy to hear a fellow Undertale fan approves. Thank you!
I love how you managed to get such a dramatic expression from a simple skull.
A+, 10/10, bravo.
Thank you! It was pretty tricky but I'm glad to know it worked!
Man’s frolicking with that spaghetti
doesn't everyone?
@@ArtChongArt I certainly would
My face lit up when you said Grim Fandango and then fell again when you said "congratulations, you're old" lmao fantastic work as always!
Thank you. If it helps, I also got the reference 😂
Amazing sculpture as always, but I'm sad to see the better help sponsor. You might want to read into that topic more

The ground beef/parmesan tech was amazing
Undertale has got to be top 5 games of all time for me. I absolutely love this piece! Represents him as a character perfectly
i love the piece (huge undertale fan too!!) but it sucks to see you take a betterhelp sponsorship given how much info there is out there about their business practices :((
Dude's gotta eat somehow.
By promoting a harmful service? Smh
"Oh, he mentioned Grim Fandango!"
>And if you get that reference, congratulations! You are *old*!
"... I'm going to go crawl into a grave now-"
(But, in all seriousness, what a delightful Papyrus! You've done him justice ♥)
My mans is back with another video and sculpt! Best upload to my youtube subscriptions in a while 🥲🤌
Yay, I love grimm fandango!
Sidenote: You should totally make a Grimm Fandango sculpture
love that undertale's still goin strong after these (almost) ten years- AND HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING
The Grim Fandango is such a call out I felt it in my old achy soul
Absolutely wonderful!
I heard you saying the joke about Grim Fandango, guessed the punchline 2 seconds before you said it, then still cackled when you said it. Love that. Also love that you're trying to get some woodwork in! Heck yeah, multimaterial crafter do your thing!

The amount of movement in that sculpt is gorgeous, it is very Papyrus :)
This is so emotive and expressive and is perfect. Like, I know no art is ever perfect in the eyes of the creator but I love him. This is so incredible. It makes me happy
I actually really like the unfinished texture on the armor, cause I could totally imagine papyrus made it out of paper mache
Such a great sculpture, I love the dynamic pose he looks fantastic!
WE ARE SO BACK
Nicely done making Papyrus.
Wow! What an amazing sculpture! Love how you captured his expression! Well done!!
You do not understand the amount of joy coursing through me when I saw this!!!!! The best Boi!!!
Do muffet next 😈
I'd probably do Mettaton before Muffet 😉
I really don’t know how to put this in words, but something about this sculpture is screaming pure perfection to me!

The delicate way he holds as he triumphantly shows off the spaghetti is perfect.
The posing is genuinely immaculate here. Personally I don't like how his arms connect to his torso in this one, but everything else is amazing and seeing the final showcase at the end with the rotations and different angles was surreal, the vibes in this one are just so good and true to his character.

Glad you're back and that you got some good inspiration for this one!
I AM INLOVE with this. this is pure gorgeousness
Hey, I was just wondering when you'd be posting another video. Really enjoy everything you've been doing lately
This papyrus is so beautiful. You definitely captured his essence!
I love the posing you did he looks so over the top with happiness. Wonderful work as always.
Oh he is absolutely gorgeous. You did an amazing job! I thought it was so creative how you used the foam and saw dust for the spaghetti. Really ties everything together 💕
I SMELL UNDERRATED CONTENT!!!
This deserves more recognition! Its amazing!
NYEH HEH HEH!
im loosing my mind this is the coolest thing ever why does it only have 2000 views????
This is so epic and it’s really cool to see someone else have a really similar creative process! randomly found you again. great art as usual!
I love your work and I love your passion! But betterhelp... Does nobody know they sold their user's info? People were getting ads of antidepressants and most of the "therapists" aren't even qualified. Now they're acting as if nothing happened
OMG im so happy you posted!!! its been a while! ❤
Also i think Papyrus turned out great! Keep it up!

love it! the piece in general - but the dynamic pose is absolute banger!
Seeing such a beautiful sculpture of Papyrus, it fills you with determination
Excellent work. Wish I could buy a figure like this just for my desk.
despite having notifications turned on, youtube did not told me about this video
you are one of the best channels on youtube. please keep up the good work
11:42 fun fact the true color of papyruses boots and gloves are vermillion. (Don’t ask why ik the exact color)
I’m sure these projects are done pretty far apart but this project FEELS like a break, more relaxed and fun for you compared to your last sculpture. It feels really good, very lighthearted and it looks like you’re allowing yourself to be a little less hard about all the details. Overall, wonderful piece as always.
I really enjoy the gestures! Great work man!
Wow!!! he looks amazing! wasn't expecting something like this, but it was a very pleasant surprise! Wonderful work!
Missed sculpture's like this! 🤩
This looks like Papyrus has finally made the perfect bowl of spaghetti, and is now ascending into spaghetti heaven. Great work!
My new headcanon is that Papyrus doesn’t wear tights or spandex under his costume, he literally paints his entire body black every morning
Oh we GOTTA See a sculpt of Sans either in the Hall of Judgement or hanging out at Grillby's
fwiw i think the textured finish works for undertale since the characters are so lumpy and imperfect as sprites
as a long time undertale fan this is so so amazing
everything was so well executed and im blown away that this piece was "just for fun"
keep doing what you're passionate about!! :D fantastic job man!
Omg he is absolutely amazing! I love how happy he looks about his spaghetti he looks so good! ❤
How awesome, such talent and skill 💖💖
What a fun peice of art!! Looks amazing!!
this shi so beautiful 😔🙏🏽
I would love to see more undertale/deltarune sculptures!! And some woodworking content in this format sounds great too :)
Papyrus would not be bothered by “realism” in his armor. His armor will just work for him and that’s all he needs.
I love your work so much, every time you post something I become more and more interested in sculpting. keep it up!
hello im a 3d artist and one thing that really jumped to me was your talk about leavng texture on your rt works as it reminds me of how i add texture to 3d objects for metal try saning in 1 direction to give a metal look the look thats left on the object would look dreat for a rough wall or concrete and very little bumps for anything loos and fleshy or fabric like
Great sense of movement with that. My son (a big Undertale fan) thinks it looks great!
Papyrus would love this. He would definitely give it it's own shelf.
This is the greatest Papyrus sculpture I’ve ever laid eyes on
*Papyrus* : this statue is amazing! stupendous! It's... It's...
*Sans* : Sansational?
*Papyrus looking really angry*
Bro this video was amazing
YEEEESSSS THE GOOOAAATT
I'm always happy to see your stuff. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Awesome (as always).
I’ve been anticipating your next upload and I’m very happy with the videos ❤️
the skellator of undertale, a true legend
This needs a full series now. Your fate is sealed
Worth to watch video, I always waiting something new from you 💯👍👍😊
Phenomenal!
Really captured that Nyeh heh heh-ness.
Also I could see Papyrus getting into pottery, struggling ;-;, but would definitely use the “successful” attempts for the spaghetti.

So glad I founs your channel! Truely the great and powerful papyrus would appreciate your work in immortalizing him!
The model is very impressive.
2:07 “not hyper realistic” proceeds to flawlessly sculpt a detailed skull
I'm pretty sure that's actually how Papyrus makes his spaghetti
very cool my guy
19:17 I'm already working on something im as proud of as Papyrus is as that bowl of spaghetti. I clicked this video for background ambience while I make it. I'm cutting down a Trackmaster 2009 Percy into a Railway Series Percy
this guy and north of the border are the best artist on youtube

Honestly, Papyrus is one of the best things I discovered on the internet

Love it! Amazing work!
I'm definitely weird for liking Comic Sans as the font. As well as the character, tbh.
Papyrus looks absolutely wonderful!! Ive been waiting for someone to make a sculpture of him and/or sans, so im just happy it finally happened and looks so good!! Did you do this for the 9th anniversary, or was it just a happy accident?

Sounds like the creepy-pasta's ready!

My head: NYEHEHE! FINALLY! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS! I FINALLY MANAGED TO MAKE THE MOST PERFECT SPAGHETTI!!! NYEHEHEHE!!!
Love it! This put a big smile on my face, I enjoy getting to watch your process and am so thankful that you share it with us! Also, I haven't played Undertale yet, but I've been on a retro-rpg kick lately and while this isn't *that* old, I think it'll slot neatly between FFIV and FFVI :)
