Been there twice the last time in2018 with dungiven flute band from n Ireland. They played at theipval memorial and tower.they didnt think they were going to be able to play at the menin gate but low and behold there was a space and they played there ,it was very moving,fantastic trip,
That rich thick tone balancing is something no band ever does nearly as well as the bands of the Household Division... and I'd say particularly the Grenadier Guards.
Very well done and nice to see a large crowd. I recognize every note of the selection after God Save the Queen but cannot recall its name. Can someone provide it?
It's wonderful music in this video, but my consuming desire watching it is to tell the big bald guy on the left to pull back his camera-phone so the older blonde woman can see the band.
