    Why did you have to tap it so many times to go up , are those like 8 inch cylinders in the back

    • @johnbeer5242
      @johnbeer5242 6 лет назад +1

      Alexander Gonzalez he maybe needs battery charging or just he barely taps the switch once u get use to the switches u kind of barely tap sometimes but when u first start hitting them u hold it for a little too long 😂 and almost fuck it up😂

    Hey bro, I got a 63 vert. Just doing lay and play. no hopping or 3s. Only doing 8 inch all around. I just want to raise...drive....and lay on the ground when parked. Do you still think I will have the rearend problems or need the slip yoke? Much respect on you and you r ride.

    Careful bro. With that rear brake line. I’d do a bridge or something so it locks up and doesn’t pop that brake line. That sucker is stretched to the max.

    Whats up bro! Nice work! Exactly what I wanna do on mine. I wanted to ask, what did u do w/ your old un-chromed trailing arms w/ the welded power balls ? Do u still have them by chance & be willing to sell them to me? I have PayPal.

    • @BigVSupremeCC

    • @nelsoncordova9354
      @nelsoncordova9354 7 лет назад

      I wanted to ask u bro, is your bridge valley in the middle removed & reinforced because I have a telescopic drive shaft on mine too but I mistakenly put the telescoping yoke on the other end near the pumpkin rear end , now that I know that i have it wrong Im a put it like yours but anyways the two holes where the carrier bearing goes screwed onto, it like broke off & the carrier bearing is no longer secure. Im assuming this happened cuz I had the yoke reveresed the wrong way, u think? Im just wondering how I am going to fix this. Any ideas bro?

    • @BigVSupremeCC
      @BigVSupremeCC  7 лет назад

      So you're saying the Carrier Bearing ripped out? Is it a heavy duty carrier bearing? HD bearing is a must have. If you do have an HD, I think your driveline could possibly be measured to the wrong length. It would take a lot of force to rip out your HD bearing and bend metal. There are different lengths depending on your transmission and whether or not your trailing arms are extended or not. The best bet is to take your driveline to a driveline specialist and give them your measurements fully locked up & fully laid. They can confirm your driveline is correct for your car.

    • @nelsoncordova9354
      @nelsoncordova9354 7 лет назад

      No no. Not the carrier bearing. I have a heavy duty one that is pure metal , no rubber no polyurethane. Im sayin on the bottom metal where the screw holes are(the bridge valley) has started ripping out. Make sense a little better? Thats why i asked if yours was, taken out a some point, reinforced with more metal & welded back on. Cuz I was thinking maybe thats what I should have done if i only knew that this was going to happen. Thats how yours looks from the video, Im not sure maybe not. & also too was thinkin maybe it ripped out cuz i had the yoke on the wrong end. Also too it shouldnt really matter my drive shaft length cuz its telescopic right? I currently have a 350 transmission but am changing to 700r4.

    So it looks like you only have the bottom and maybe the top of your frame wrapped? Is that right?
    Did you fab that Y bar yourself?
    Looks tight!

    • @lowerbuncombecoachworks3384
      @lowerbuncombecoachworks3384 5 лет назад

      I see now from the first video.
      Can you still do a standing 3 with a Y bar or does a wishbone set up allow for more range of motion?

      You can get the fully adjustable y-bars from BlackMagic. I got mine from Coronado Customs who is a an authorized distributor.

    Did you reinforce your frame? I have a 63 convert ,wanna lift it. Should I reinforce it?

    • @BigVSupremeCC
      @BigVSupremeCC  6 лет назад

      RC Jr , verts are boxed, and have minor reinforcements on the x-frame from the factory. No need- if you just have basic up and down switches.
      If you want to 3-wheel or hop your car, you will need to reinforce.

    • @rcjr1371
      @rcjr1371 6 лет назад

      Vincent Ortega thanks bro! nice 60 btw.

    • @rcjr1371
      @rcjr1371 6 лет назад

      So would it be a partial wrap, or full for minor hopping. Thanks again.

    • @BigVSupremeCC
      @BigVSupremeCC  6 лет назад +1

      Honestly homeboy, a vert frame is pretty sturdy. I personally wouldn’t worry about minor hopping but..... as a builder I would tell you to reinforce because if you have the switches, your gunna hit em. Especially when cruising. You wanna kill the crowd. Go big or go home.

    • @rcjr1371
      @rcjr1371 6 лет назад

      Vincent Ortega Thanks for your advice bro. I am going to reinforce it after all, I wanna hop it and three wheel eventually. That's what Impalas are for🖒

    I looking at impala to buy. The seller just told me all it needs is a y bone to be straight?!?!? I don’t know what he means.! Is it a red flag the chassis was damage ?

    • @BigVSupremeCC
      @BigVSupremeCC  6 лет назад

      Not at all. Y-bone is the same as a y-bar. As explained in my #1 video. The ybone will correct any lock up issues

    • @702solidink
      @702solidink 6 лет назад

      Vincent Ortega the seller just told me it’s makes a ticking noise when driving? The y bone needs to be fix?

    for rear they using truck lifting jack, but they using a small one, for front just drill a hole wiring heavy duty pipe then pour some absorber oil... that's why for rear they dont using adjustable just normal spring coil
