Love your system of measuring: coffee beans, raisins! Thank you for a review that actually described the features and functions of each knife! Great and humorous review!!!
First time watcher here....I stumbled upon your channel this morning, at first I didn't detect your accent....but as your video went on and I didn't keep scrolling I began to notice that you might be from Germany or austria....you finally mentioned that your from Norway! I appreciate your presentation style and liked how you described everything...really cool...I went ahead and hit that subscribe button and gave you a thumbs up! I guess the only thing I took issue with was the fact that your a Dewalt guy....I recently researched folding utility knives and decided to go with milwaukee I have their six in one fastback and their compact folding knife...I like both of these....I'm a knife guy and for my edc I carry a buck Juno in my front left pocket a spyderco in my left rear pocket and now my milwaukee fastback in my front right pocket...it works for me...I live and work in the west texas oifield....
WD40 might work, but it's primary function is *not* as lubricant. I would suggest using something else, like a silicon based lubricant. It will last longer. WD40 = Water Displacement formula #40 and as the name suggest is mostly for removing moisture. It does contain some oil though, but you will have to reapply quite often to prevent the squeaking.
Yeah, you're probably right. Although I'm not sure I want something really greasy in there, if I'm cutting some wallpaper or something that easily stains. Not using a retractable utility knife that often, probably just going to leave it as is. Folding pocket knife is the way to go! 😀
it's such a shame that all the folding knives you showcased have liner locks, I much prefer a button or compression locks, such as the BAHCO BHKBTU-01 or a gerber tanto 06, but to each his own I guess. great showcase otherwise!
Yes, a matter of taste I guess, as long as it's a good quality liner lock I like them! But I've tried a few really cheap ones from AliExpress, those knives ended up in a drawer somewhere 😉 Thanks for the feedback! Might do a comparison to other brands someday. Both Bacho and Gerber have some interesting knives!
If you're as into DeWalt tools as I am, check out this drill review next! 😉

Coffee beans and raisins! The only way to measure accurately.

@@TryingToBuildStuff stanley for fix body milwakee for folding
@@jacobhicks3016 Cool, thanks for the info! I have a few stanley fixed body, need to get a Milwaukee and try as well then!
He is right hard to beat a milwaukee fastback. Besides the older wood and metal knives I like them more but hard to come by these days
