💯 I love the physical book. I can’t stand reading digital books my professors at university try to make me buy the ebook, but I buy the physical book.🥰 I agree with Dr. Carr. I’m building my own library in my house,I’ve always loved home libraries. My fellow Afrikaans please build your own home library. Education is the only way to liberation.❤️🖤💚

Even without technology & in rural areas, thoughtfully curated independent study guides for rest of year, or future distance learning yrs broken down by semesters or quarters are possible & deliverable. Materials exist to support this type of learning, Districts need only invest in appropriate solutions, develop realistic goals & timelines and be flexible with deadlines. Example: Socially distanced, Computer labs @ schools or other facilities, limited to those who do not have, cannot afford or limited to no computer/internet. Depending on how flexible, we can also capitalize this time to prioritize and supplement education by teaching our youth, the truth about themselves & various practical life skills. Everyone is mostly home, get a couple of your student's friends if their parent's must work and while socially distancing, teach them household budgeting, gardening, the benefits of personal health, cooking, career planning & entrepreneurship & business in the age of COVID-19.

I've noticed that I'm having trouble connecting to sites that enlighten Black folks about the meaning of the events happening today. For example, I couldn't watch Savage Politcal Bite today, regardless if whatever I did. My role is to spread these breadcrumbs, do that I others can be enlightened.

Question: Based on today's lesson, Is this a time of revelation of what or who possibly are the real wizards behind the curtain "the (outward or becoming visible to the average person like me) power of the technological oligarchs of the world"?

After over 40 years in Special Education, I am seriously concerned about the education of special needs students that will maximize their role in society. My former colleagues said to teach them during this time has been extremely challenging. My goal is to open a charter school that will provide a nurturing educational environment for these worthy students. Thanks for allowing me to focus on this area. Love the show. So informative and thought-provoking.

Kindergarten to High School...She took all of her standardized tests in person...even had a Guidance Counselor...could hear her teacher and see her teacher...email...attendance daily....so all K12 students never missed a beat in their education...

Your conversation reminded me it the Denzel movie "The Book Of Eli." The evil villain in the movie understood the power of the bible and the control he could exert over the people once he had the words.
There was no internet. Only him being the person who could read. The masses were basically subservient and controlled.

Yes a book I wanted was not in my local library so I went to a library the next county over they requested it from a college library on the otherside of the my state. When searching the libraries online catalogs often times the book I seek are not available and I see only books on the common black leaders of the past for children to read. All of these people Dr.Carr have mentioned are not in either library so ordering them online is my only way to obtain them. Love learning each time❤
