I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m saying that because losing a person from your life is definitely a grieving process. I am sure most people can relate to how you’re feeling in this moment- I certainly can. Heartbreak is unfortunately a universal feeling. You’re such a strong and beautiful person. Coming to terms with someone not being who you thought they were is so relatable (and so hard) - I had a breakup a few months ago and I felt so aggrieved partly at myself for misreading them! Always got to remember it’s on them, not you! Lots of love Soph 💓
I’m so sorry to hear this, but you’re totally on the right side of it! I went through near enough the exact same breakup, we were together for 6 years since we were 17 and we grew as people together and the feeling of the loss doesn’t go away but the strength of being on your own is completely unmeasurable. Eventually you’ll be grateful for him, not the relationship or the breakup but for the person you have become since being without him x

I "lost" my bestfriend a year and a half ago and it's weird yes, after so many years and experiences but it gets better like they say time heals all wounds and I'm sure you have something better waiting for you whenever you're ready you'll see. I went through an incredibly tough break up when I was your age (I’m 28 now). We became different people and my ex became so obsessed with material items, money, etc.. I never wanted that to be a focus in my life. I think you grow into yourself going through the loss of someone you love and thought you had a future with. Going through a similar situation right now!!! Its so hard when you’ve been together since you were young because it gets to a point where you feel like you can’t really remember yourself or your life without them. It’s a different type of loss, who you were leaves too. It’s very sad honestly. It might be worse when you both aren’t happy but you love each other and are too codependent to leave so you are just in the cycle of splitting up and getting back together. I ended my 5 & 1/2 year relationship a couple months ago and am still very much grieving, even if it was a very toxic dynamic (mostly on his side). It’s an incredibly sad thing to go through and all we can do is take it day by day. Much love to you ❤️

The way your were talking about the breakup etc is SO relatable to me. I was with someone for 8 years similar thing then all of a sudden it was over and I never saw it coming. It literally is like they just died and you grieve like crazy. I've never felt pain like it and hope to never again but it is hard to go from all to nothing like that person may aswell be dead to me they don't exist in my life anymore and it's crazy, maybe scary too that people can just disappear like that.. its hard but like you say you're seeing things for as they are now and you will move forward and upwards for that matter! This video couldn’t have come at a better time. My boyfriend broke up with me three weeks ago, and I was blindsided. It was on a Tuesday, 9 PM at night and I’ve just been grieving since. It’s strange how you can go from best friends to strangers with someone, in an instant. It was so sudden and we’ve had no contact since that night. It’s hard because the one person I want to talk to about it all is HIM. Yet, it’s just me to sort out all the pieces that have been left. I will say, each day it’s getting better. My thoughts about unfollowing were "he'll think it's petty" or "It'll blow any chances of us getting back together" or "I gave in before he did" etc. It's not about that though. it's freeing. It gives you permission to fullyyyy let go and move on. Which YOU deserve. Don't let him stay on your socials when he's not even actively trying to make things right. The fact that he could do that ao suddenly just shows he didn't truly love you or respect you. Typically when it happens suddenly, it's often because of cheating. If anything, it's a blessing that it's happened now ratber than later. This just shows we shouldn't consider out partners our entire world and should place just as much emphasis on family relstionships, friends, career, hobbies, faith etc I hope you heal

I always tend to do that when I've come out the other end of a transition period- change my hair. It's not intentional, but the life change I go through always puts me into the mood to express that change through my look. The hair change doesn't change the way you feel but it expresses a change in you that is already taking place. That's how it seems for me anyway
