2023 Memorial Day Wknd. Railfanning on NS Pittsburgh Line, Selected Videos, Day 1 & Prior (2nd Half)

Second half continues with a pretty routine stay at a few spots for a few hours such as the Cassandra Railroad Overlook then work my way back to the Tunnel Inn in Gallitzin, PA. There were a few small spurts of trains bunched up together but I would say the busiest time would be the evening and night hours back at the inn. Several trains sadly took the New Portage Tunnel (AR) which is not visible for me.
Anyway, the railfanning trip got off to a great start and I look forward to what the second day has to offer!

Way groovy! I love this location and its one of my favorites, I am hoping one day to spend a summer vacation within the area to relax, eat and watch the trains. Neat job.

Thanks! Cassandra is on there as one of my favorite, you can just relax when you get there and watch trains, without too much distractions.

First of, thank you for the comment! And as for Sand Patch, this is a route that I feel that I should go with someone rather than by myself, and so far I've never had the opportunity to do so.
