Your critique Of Glock was well done. The original design is sooo strong. Trying to improve it must be maddening for Glock.
Your point on the 365 was taken and I believe many RUclips videos lied about the 365 to get views...? Truthfully the 365 has been %100 for every owner. The First Year of 365 must be compared to the first year of Glock. Also you cannot shoot poor quality bullets including aluminium in guns with tight tolerances.
Fair Play? Fair Play... Final word the new Glock 43X and the other one. They look cool and they remind me of a hi-bred cross Kahr/Glock. Still concealable but nicer slides, new silver color, and more capacity.
Mid-size cross breed hand guns is accurate.
Thanks Tony! I agree 100%
I disagree in part, SIG as a company has been around for years, you would have to compare the first Sig models to the first Glock. You would have to compare apples to apples. That means Sig 365 compared to Glock 43 or 43X in their respective years of release.
If your gun can't shoot all ammo at all times you need a different gun.
Adrian Thomas that’s completely wrong. Guns can have completely different roles. You don’t want to run trash tula through a precision rig when shooting for accurate groups.
@@JonnyRend lol ok.
Just purchased today as a Mother’s Day gift to myself. Very impressive video and will save to my favorites. Thank you
2 years late, best gift you could gift yourself
That's a hot mammy and she's packing heat in her pants.
Y ,
I think what people don’t understand about Glock is that they are not trying to be anyone else. They simply continue to innovate their own their own design. It’s other companies who are usually trying to be Glocks , not the other way around. Compare all u want . Glock hit the sweet spot with the 43X in my opinion. I absolutely love mine . I can’t believe how light and accurate it is . Blows my mind , allot like the G26 did which I’ve carried now for 4 generations. I’ve been carrying the 43X more and more. It really inspires confidence once u shoot it and realize how fast u can draw this lil thing . Can’t say enough.
I have owned a 43 for some time, when the 43X and 48 came out, I pre-ordered the 48. I quickly found myself wanting the 43X. I have switched the the 43X with the S15 mags.
Great review! I've been carrying a glock 19 for a while. I love the 19, but the single stack 43x is very appealing to me. It's lighter, slimmer, and it will be easier for me personally to conceal. I love the idea of the full hand grip on the single stack! Great review brother!
Thanks Michael!
This June will be out a 15 rounds mag for the Glock 43X. I'm really excited about it.
Did you mean the shield arms s15 magazine?
That didn't pan out too well.
Here in October 2021, we're on GEN2 of that mag.
And we're on the 2nd mag catch from shield arms.
But they still have yet to figure out quality, design, & performance: ruclips.net/video/6HuEk7SG1A4/видео.html
Just got mine a few days ago, perfect for concealed carry and works like a beaut, honestly can’t say anything bad about this glock, I’ve put an ETS 19 round, and had problems w jamming but came to find out it was just the cheap mag, the gun is amazing I highly recommend
I'll start by saying that I've never been overly drawn to Glocks.
That being said, I quite like both the 43X and the 48.
Very interesting.
Good review.
Sootch00 I always love your heroic man of honor music selections to your videos along with the content you provide. Thank you for all you do. Home grown S.C. boy still at heart and will always be even though I am not physically there anymore. Keep it coming!
Thanks JM! I appreciate it. You're welcome back home anytime :)
Great video, I have a 365 with over 1000 rounds with no issues. I will keep my sig with my 12 round mags. That is a nice looking gun.
Thank you Dennis, I have 1700+ rds through my p365 with ZERO issues. Glock always seems to be working backwards on design.
Thank you so much for your videos. The Glock 43X is my EDC. I absolutely love it. Great pistol.
I like the both guns but don’t like the coloring...they look like Kahrs!
Same boat men, I dig the platform but god damn why not the nDLC black ? What the heck. I’m still prolly good for 1 as I live in update NY...at the moment. Cc my 26 as I’m watching this.
I agree good guns but maybe for the Mexicans😁
Ricky Ramírez I agree, I do not like the color. I’ll stick with my 43. It’s just not the color, my 43 works flawlessly.
What’s happened to Glock ?
Hopefully Glock will offer all black versions.
It’s been years since I purchased any new guns and I missed watching your channel so I looked you up just to watch a random one of your videos at work. Miss you dude.!!
I dearly love my 43x. She is my beloved EDC.
I'm still trying to figure out how to be accurate with it i think glock shoot different then most guns
@@Patriot-pq1ku It's definitely not you. Took me quite a while to get used to it. It's so dang light and since it's smaller, it takes getting used to. Lots of practice and you should be ok.
A friend of mine just bought one of these. I must say, as a hard core Gen 3 guy, I was impressed. This may be my next Glock purchase.
Still waiting on the Glock 40X. Glock 40 slide with glock 42 frame chambered in 338 lapua magnum.
Doge McCool, didn’t TT build this for the John Wick films? LOL
Well now this is a firearm to really get behind!!
Y’all are high. Hahaha
@@Armedlegally I disagree, I would not want to be behind it lol
Doge McCool 😂
Really like how you add footage of yourself firing the gun in the beginning of all your videos good job sir, 🇺🇸
I had and issue with the g43.only 6 rounds? I rather carry a revolver instead but Yesssss I was waiting like crazy for you to review this pistol... HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU BROTHER!!
Better than the clock for A8. Much shorter and less weight easy to conceal.put night sights on and you got a excellent gun for ccw.💯👍
Cold piece I’ll be buying one, gonna sell my 43 for this 43x
Got my 43x two weeks ago and put 200 rounds through it a few days ago. Wow, what a nice shooting compact. Reliable and accurate, although I'd like to put night sights on it. To me, the sights are the only thing the Sig 365 has over the 43x.
You can now get a 15 round magazine for this gun.
GAME CHANGER!
PURE PERFECTION!
Nobodies got them in stock
@@benclark8495
True. They should be coming back within weeks
Just got one today for my bday! Thanks dad! 🎉
Personally, I'll be sticking to the smaller size of my Sig 365, but I bet this one is going to be a great seller. Great review as always.
Another testament that my 25 year old Gen 2 G-19 and my G-26 are the ultimate in interchangability that rivals the new Glock attempts at improvement.
Aww Yeah! *Let's Check It Out😍*
Thanks Jonathan!
I've never seen someone so excited over the most boring gun ever made.
I used to criticize the G48, but you're right. In those unfortunate unfree states with a 10 round limit, having something that's as shootable as a 19 is a benefit.
It really looks like Glock is going after the Shield and the Kahr, instead of Sig.
@Pauly Winkerstinkle I can see that. It's just that this model is bigger than the Sig. If they were able to manage 10 rounds in their standard 43, then I would share that view.
Q. Lawrence missburg just released one too
@ I noticed. I'm intrigued as well, especially since they take G43 mags.
I was a Glock guy carried one on duty for 25 years....now that I'm older and wiser sig is the way to go p320 and no problems with my p365
i'm gonna call bullsh1t on this statement.
I’m not sure why I come to the comments for real information. It’s just a bunch of chest puffing and fallacious arguments. It’s painful.
well then...um......good bye.
Opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one. Don't be so sensitive about it. Who cares what other people say.
I sort of agree, Brad. However, there is good information to be gleaned (while ignoring some of the more ignorant opinions) from "regular" people who have actual, practical experience with the firearms in question-- fwiw
@@dannystillschooling7768 the quote is, everyone has one, and they all stink.
@@oceanwaves83 nice!
I noticed the 43X. Has the same grip length as the G-19 , with after market support of Shield arms S15 magazines holding the same as the G-19 it said to be a Goldy locks Glock , A GREAT choice in a small slim package .
This Glock is one of the most beautiful in my opinion!
Just perfect !
I will probably be getting this for my wife and me. My wife loves her Glocks. She has a 19 and a 43 and loves and shoots both well. I, on the other hand, am not the biggest Glock fan but have a 43 and love it. I prefer Sigs and have a 365 and various 320s. The 365 has been flawless through 1000 round so far but there is always that thought in the back of my head that I've never had with a Glock. The 43 virtually disappears when concealed but I always felt a little underwhelmed with the capacity. If the 43X has the same concealability as the 43 with more capacity then I think it's a no brainer given the reliability of Glock.
Just a disgrace that Glock doesn't offer OEM extended mags. The 3rd party mags are not reliable enough
I am so happy I was not able to buy a glock 23 or 19. Now I have this new dream to go after!!! I LOVED THIS 43X!!! THANKS GLOCK!
They're going to sell a bunch of these. Another great video and review brother, cheers!
Thanks Fu! You're the man!
Just purchased a 43X and liked it the minute it touched my hand.
I'm still trying to figure out how to be accurate with it
I have a G43 with 2 ETS 10rd mags with X Grip fillers. I'd love to A B mine vs the new 43x
Excellent vid, good comparison info.
To my original G43, like you I changed to XS Big Dot sights and Talon rubberized grip.
Did add the Taran Tactical 2rd extension to my daily carry mags for 8 plus 1, (no printing), 3rd extension for my back-up mags for 9 plus 1.
At this time about 3,000 rds, various ammo, no issues, it's a Glock!
I love the look of this pistol, love the dual color. The extra grip length shouldn't be a problem. I carry my G42 with a +3 extended mag all the time, and it's still perfectly small and concealable. I've heard nothing but good things about the 43X, especially the trigger. Two Springfield Armory guys were reviewing it, and they were gushing about the great trigger AND the negligible recoil. THIS will probably become my new cc gun. I wanted a 9mm but stayed away because of the snap. I'm very excited about that.
U
Great review. I've never been a Glock guy, but I do like the new 43/43X/48 offerings. I picked up a special edition G43 not long after it came out and then later picked up a G48. I really love the concealability of the G43, but love the grip and trigger of the G48. I prefer the trigger and functions of the G48 over the G43. But wait, I already have a G48 and a G43. So, I swapped over the slide and barrel from the G43 onto the frame of my G48. Fits like a glove and functions flawlessly. Created my own G43X!! It doesn't have the fancy beveling on the slide and frame like the G43X. I don't find the extra grip a detriment to concealability. The thin grip really helps hide it. Keep up the videos and reviews!!!
RUclips ads? Elizabeth Warren's prez ad came on before a gun review. Lol.
Just got my hands on a 43X, chose it over the 43 because it fits my hand a lot better. Another big reason is no need to purchase magazine extenders to add additional capacity. Looking forward to getting my holster, mag carrier, and new night sights to make it my go to carry gun.
Having big hands, I like the bigger grip on these over the 43. I'm actually more interested in the 48 than the 43x, having the longer barrel/sight radius. Not like this is a pocket carry kind of gun. The grip is the same length on these, so concealability is equal. The Sig p365 is nice but its questionable reliability turns me off. I see a 48 in my future
A Glock 43 with a +1 extension fits perfect in the pocket. The 43X with the 15 round Shield Arms magazines… Boom! Game over. I’m extremely satisfied because mines all Black.
I would rather have the PT111 G2C. Can get the same look and almost three of them for the price.
Agree i have the g2 and g2c trigger like a glock and shoots nice have 3000 plus thru mine with not 1 failer so ya was intrested but not so much now just a glock a square glock break down is way way close to the pt111g2 so ya. And not big one the color black on black works if your concealing a gun why make it colorful. So yup ill keep my pt111g2. Im with you on that jwilli
Just as good, for a third of the price!
Yes,, and you get 12+1 and it can take P226 mags. Glock is just lazy.
Wow, I like that G48!!!! If I'm going to extend the hand grip, my purpose for the gun would also compliment the longer barrel. But for now I'm keeping my G43 because it's an awesome gun and I have a few mag options for more rounds.
Disappointing. The 365 beat the 43 in every aspect except the one that counted; reliability.
All Glock had to do was bring the reliability they are known for into the same sized package and round count as the 365 and they would have won.
Here’s hoping Smith will get it right with the 10 round 365 sized gun. Bonus points if they give it a red dot.
PS- wouldn’t a 365 with a 12 round mag still be smaller with a higher round count than this gun?
Daniel Stewart I think S&W has the best chance of competing with the P365. The Shield was already a 1 1/2 stack, plus they are have a missing sub-compact model spot in the 2.0 line up
Who gives a shit if it literally breaks itself in under 3,000 rounds. Until that gun will run like a shield, XDS or a 43, I don’t even consider it a real gun. That being said I’ve put about 50 rounds through a p365 and I did like it.
My thought exactly daniel Stewart
@Daniel Stewart - I was thinking the EXACT same thing! Glock can make a double stack capacity G43 just like the P365, except with actual reliability. BUT since Glock is too proud to copy the P365 mag they released a useless G43x. Just like Sig could have easily fixed their P320 drop safe issues with a safety switch like pretty much all polymer striker pistols are doing now, but Sig is too proud to copy a Glock design (Sig copied Steyr instead lol!).
@@SixGun Al - No gun is 100% reliable. It's not about finding a gun that's 100% reliable, it's about finding a gun that has the lowest "failure rate" in all, which in reality the G43 has a much much lower "failure rate" than the P365. Now of course you can get a malfunction on a G43 and none on a P365 if both guns fire 1000 rounds. That doesn't mean that P365 is now more reliable than that G43, or that all P365 are now more reliable than all G43? NOPE. Simply look up in 2018 how many G43 have been sent back to Glock and how many P365 have been sent back to Sig. I guarantee you that the P365 has been sent back far more than G43.
I've tested so many P365 and have had some little issue to big issues with all of them. So far my G43 has hit 22K rounds total and so far no malfunctions. Does that mean my G43 is 100% reliable? No! It just has a much lower and really far less (galaxy distance) likely to fail than a P365, G43 in general have far less failure rate than the P365. Bottom line, I trust the G43, I don't trust the P365, and there's plenty of reported facts to give me good reason not to.
I was considering getting a gen 4 G 43 as my first gun but i didnt like the lack of mag size and the small grip this is perfect love the silver finish on the slider too awesome review
another good vid ...... still enjoy my G26, and I can up my magazine capacity anytime without buying a new gun by sliding in a Glock mag. from a G19, G17 etc...... ya know
I have a Gen 3 G19 I'll never ever let go of but I really like the mag release redesign on the newer ones.
To be fair. While I like Glocks they have also had issues with new models when first introduced.
I had two bad out of the box verified by the gun dealer. Plus go to a training school someday and watch Glocks fail like other guns. I will stick with my Sigs and HKs thank you.
@JusticeAA My buddy Had a new gen 4 G22 that had failure of recoil spring assembly. Slide was locked up and had to be sent to gunsmith.
JusticeAA Glock 42 comes to mind. They replaced internals and magazines on original run models
It does feel good in hand. I let a person hold it who never dealt with guns before and they said they felt comfortable holding it within 5 mins.
Nice glock!!!, I own a 2nd gen P365 with over 1k rounds, I have had ZERO issues with mine. Hard to beat the p365 for its size. I pocket carry it everyday 8+ hours a day with no issue.
HEY GLOCK! Make a 45acp version of the G45.
I would love a 45acp Glock in the size of a 19/23!!!!
Buy a Shield 45
Absolutely love my Glock 43x. Shoots like a dream.
Have to say that Glock missed the point on this one. The only valid argument I heard was the 10 round capacity states.. but even then, you might as well go for the 26. The 6 round standard cap magazine was the deciding factor between the shield and the 43 for me, but the Sig 365 has about rendered both of them obsolete in my mind. As soon as I'm comfortable that they have dealt with the firing pin issue, I will own a 365. The 43x is pretty pointless with such a long grip, and I don't even understand the reason for the 48.
Pretty pointless for you, not everybody else. Also the 26 doesn't have a full size grip.
The G48 was invented to be sold in Canada. They have a minimum barrel length of over 4 inches.
Dude... the 43x can be used by people with grown man hands. It’s not that big of a difference from the 365 with handle length... and any Glock whatever Glock they’ll never jam. Glocks are the Toyota of guns you can not go wrong with any of them. The 365 has had so many terrible reviews on reliability, and I just don’t understand the hype behind it... I want my concealed carry gun to go boom every time I pull the trigger
For people complaining that it's unnecessary or useless, let me ask you ... what's wrong with having more choices?
I live in California, the choices we have are whatever was on the "Roster" in 2008 that have not changed (even in color) and whatever has not been removed from the Roster by the manufacturer. About 300 models. There are no post Generation 3 Glocks legal to buy in California.
So ... why complain about having more choices? Don't want it? Don't buy it! Everyone's hands are different, maybe this fits people that existing models don't. Embrace your Freedom! (What's that like? Freedom?)
Thanks for the review. We need some updates to the .40/10mm//357 etc. Why have manufactures abandoned the rest of the market. Not everyone is a fan of the 9mm.
X it’s the most popular round, with the military and most police forces going to it there just isn’t much incentive to innovate other calibers
@@HickLif3 Yes we get it it's popular, we are reminded every Shot Show and every guntuber has 75% of their content dedicated to the praises of the 9mm. Yet the myth that most Agencies use it continues. No other industry uses this inane lack of logic. "Most" men wear a size 9 shoe, so we aren't going to make shoes in size 12? 9mm fans are illogical.
I don’t know what you mean by 9mm fans being illogical. The fbi comes to mind for one that went to 9mm, all the officers i havr spoken with in recent years carry 9. With modern bullet technology it is the perfect self defense round. It’s cheap, there tons of bullet options. And the biggest one for me is capacity, you can put 15 rounds in a glock 19 vs the 13 in the g23. The 21 is a full size and only holds 13 rounds of 45. If there was a g19sized 380 i would carry that bad boy all the time. There are innovations in the 10mm world with rock island and sti coming out with their 2011s with 16 round capacity, but again, that’s a full size gun, and I would personally only use it for hunting.
As for youtubers jumping on a 9mm band wagon, that’s just how it goes. One person says it’s the end all be all and everyone jumps on, one person says it’s a piece of crap and will blow up and kill everyone in a 10 mile radius. Everyone jumps on. It’s social media...
@@HickLif3 Does modern bullet technology only apply to the 9mm? DHS ordered over 140 million rounds of .40 last year alone. The FBI simply added the 9mm as an option - they did not require Agents to change their firearms. I don't besmirch your reasons for carrying the 9mm, round count is a relevant concern. However, my original comment was we need more options for the millions of gun owners that don't care for the 9mm OR simply want other options...
I agree. The .40 rules
Love how you add the bloopers at the end of the video. Great review!
Still plastic sights? Amazing!
Glock also offers Glock night sights and the Ameriglo night sights as well, straight from the factory on both the 43X and the 48. I believe these are the first Glock models that night sights are a factory option as opposed to buying night sights separately and being switched out with the polymer sights.
M&P laughed out loud. “It’s just a different size hammer.”
Love Glocks and their reliability. I own quite a few of them. But Glock missed the mark on this. For concealabilty, the grip is what your concerned with. My P365 is still GTG. Because I might as well carry my Glock 19 since the grip is the same length as the 43x plus 5 more rounds. I would also carry my old Glock 26 for same round count but very short grip. That's why I bought a Sig P365 because it is as small as the Glock 42 (380acp) but carries 10+1 9mm rounds
I turn 21 this December after I finish my ccw classes and get permit I’m planing on getting this exact model as my first edc gun
You're welcome, this came out because I bought a Glock 43 yesterday. :-P

Nicely done ✅
I just bought my new Glock 43x and I love it! Also , rumor has it Glock is coming out with a 12 rd magazine for this model. Finally a great Glock pistol for us big guys with big hands. Glock knocked this one one out of the Park!👍🏻
I’m not purchasing another Glock until they release the Gen 5 10mm.
looks like we maybe waiting a while
Gen5 is only 9mm. Have to wait for Gen6!
Just bought a Gen 40 20. Love love love. Boom.

My favorite Glock is my G27. I have a G23 magazine with a Xgrip magazine sleeve. Adding to that I got a Lone Wolf 279N 9mm conversion barrel with a G19 magazine with a Xgrip magazine sleeve. With the original G27 9rd and G26 10rd magazines I have so many variations that can be created depending on the type of carry for that day.
The 365 has 12 plus one now.

LARRY FISHER you haven't heard? 9mm is the only caliber that exists now....
yes sir
I carry the 36 , that big ass hole at the end of the barrel dose have an intimidating factor...not so much with a 9mm..
When it comes to mag capacity most self defense shots are less then 3 rounds anyway...
I’ll stick to the 36...
Toby’s Last stand
Nobody is intimidated by that hole at the end of the barrel. I've been shot at by a makarov and did I laugh about it???
Could have been a damn 20mm for all I knew. Nobody likes to get shot at, nobody cares about the size of the projectile, and nobody is going to stop and ask what size of defense pistol you've got before they put themselves in jeopardy
Hell to roster ..up town boys living in there up town world....
20 mike mike would scare me a lot , not sum little Russian 9mm ..
Good day sir !🤬
If you must have 10 rounds,Just stand by and wait. Soon there will be a nice selection of used Glock 26’s on the shelves. Probably with after market sights extra mags at very cheap prices.
Big question: Is it better than SIG 365?

People who appendix carry 19s will love this. Slimmer and lighter with a shorter barrel that won’t squash your junk when you sit down.. they’ll sell a LOT of these.
Lord of the Rings: When Frodo Baggins get a glock
After watching this bought it and love it! Great review.
Just don’t understand the point of this gun when a g26 holds the same amount of rounds and I can use 15 and 17 33 round mags w it
Now there is a company that makes 15 round Glock 43x mags 😍😍😍
Single stack is thinner when carrying IWB
Full grip makes a big difference on the range.
Glock 26 is a chunky block.
I imagine that most of the Glock 43 accessories will fit this G43X. One main reason I got the 43 over the 365 is accessories. My first Glock and I love Sig.
Wanna really impress us? Put ten rds into the original g43 sized pistol.
With an RMR cut.
I agree! Someone should make a thin wall metal magazine for the G43 to increase its capacity. That’s how Sig pulled off the P365. Polymer is thick, get rid of it.
D Clark There is a company doing that for the g43x with a 15 round magazine. Supposed to release this month
I just got a + 4 extention magazine from GS. So I have a 10 round mag +1 in the pipe for my G43.
Kevin Smith real sights? My G43x came with Steel Ameriglo Tritium sights.
A couple of people have complained that it shoots to the left slightly. I chock that up to shooter error but there are some videos about it. I am a Glockaholic so I have to buy it regardless. Thanks for the video. THIS GUN NOW HAS A BLACK SLIDE AND RAIL!

Vin Vin You own any Remingtons or Rugers?
I agree; never get a Springfield.
Love my 43x, the best concealed carry weapon to date.
Come on Glock, come up with something innovative !!!
Got mine for $445 with standard sights & I put night sights on myself- Ameriglo hackathorn. Love it. I run Winchester 147gr bonded defense HP.
I’ll still carry my 19 and 19x. This could be a good idea for the wife tho.

For people with smaller hand's the 43 had a better purchase than the 26. I'll definitely be buying a stripped 43x/48 frame to swap over all my 43 part's. I already appendix carry my 43 with TT+3 base plates so I won't be losing anything and I'll be gaining 2 rounds (1 in spare mag and 1 in the gun).
I don’t buy the spin. The mags should have been made to work in the 43. They’ve been doing it for all the other models for years. And the color is awful. Reminds me of that SW glock knock off.
Sootch00, thank you for the reviews, keep up the good work. There will always be those that complain no matter what. Some of us appreciate your hard work and your efforts to bring us these videos. Bravo Zulu!
Thanks Ben!
Awesome well made video. Unfortunately I don't do Glocks. They're about as sexy as a toad and the fan boys are a joke. I'll stick with CZ and Sig.

My apologies you feel this way and so do thousands of my brethren. What’s your duty pistol, off hand boot heater too?
Try Walther, for single stack PPS M2 is pretty awesome.
@Mark Malave
Nice. Is this one of your conceal carry firearms?
N Odak Yes, completely reliable and great ergos. Weighs a little more, but it also shoots better.
Less capacity in a larger package. Good job Glock. Not to mention one of the best things about Glocks are magazine compatibility
This in 10mm would be way cooler
G29X please.
Jesus christ wed just call that the GnervedamageX
I think a lot of people, including reviewers, are missing a big point of the 48. There are a substantial number of folks, men and women, for whom the G19 is just a handful, a bit of a stretch. These folks often gravitate to Shields and 43’s for the thinness but want a few more rounds and slide length. Been asking for a “48” for quite a while, both from Glock and/or Smith. Nice to finally see an answer.
To me Glock gave us a gun no one asked for, including the G48, not interested in a single stack G19
Can you imagine the glock 19 with the grip of the 43x ,is got to be a homerun, my fried.
