    I know of only two fiddlers of this class : Ti-Jean Carignan in Québec and Vassar Clemens who fiddles here. They are in a class of their own.

      while Sam Bush is mainly known as a mandolin player, give his fiddling a listen to sometime

      my grandfather was a fiddler , got to play with Roy Acuff once, his favorite was Chubby Wise, for the best look to a couple of ex-Bill Monroe fiddlers, Chubby Wise, Kenny Baker and Vassar Clements, Vassar went beyond traditional fiddling, some jazz and bluesy stuffy, I want to say Chubby, but Vassar is the best
