Performs fantastic 50 years ago when I was a teenager I raced moto-cross and enduros and could easily see even more potential but you may need to run copper bars instead of wire to the battery lol. Ps I’m looking at a couple of options with similar equipment except for the final drive being a hub motor. Both have 15000 watt motors with 200 amp Bluetooth controller with some comfort options and 60-70 amp hour batteries and suspension options for $3800-$4000 will be using it to do a 40-50 mile round trip to Walmart or Sam’s club with a small cargo trailer. Lowest power level keeps you at 45 kph or lower ) while top speed is a claimed 140 kph. Can’t say I will never take it that fast, but this is going to be mainly in inexpensinve retirement pack mule that will be more capable and entertaining than my Magicycle.

With narrow and steep short uphill chutes. It’s just too much bike for stuff like that. If u wanna take it out in wide open spaces like desert or on track, the Stark is obviously the better choice. @BrianLampright913 Год назад +2

      My bike has a WP Air fork from a 2022 KTM85. It took a ton of $$$ to make it work correctly because it destroyed the geometry of the bike since it is 3" longer. While it was a fun project and in the end it's a very competitive bike it's now a different bike. A racer would love it but it's way overkill (and too expensive) for your average play bike. I would recommend waiting for the new EXT fork, it will be a better match for the surron and far cheaper because you won't have to mod the entire bike to make it work properly.

    Where is the value over a regular ECB dirt bike? What is the benefit, like realistically? I could buy any dirt bike I could want even buy 2 and a trailer to tow them and gear for 13k. It also seems that those electric bikes are still too rigid, to actually race one. Plus after a few laps you're down on power. I get it you appreciate the concept of riding a dirt bike with an electric drill powering it. But as far as i can tell nothing you get from that bike is better from a equivalent frame sized dirt bike from basically any brand. For a 3rd the cost.

    • @Natepwnsu
      @Natepwnsu Год назад +1

      Okay so that's a fair use case, I could see one being vastly more usable then a pit bike in a pit bike use case, it still seems pretty noisy when your riding flat out. It's definitely really cool, 13k is just a lot for what still seems to me like a toy for enthusiasts, Which again is fine if that's your thing , I just feel like manufacturers jumped the gun and should be refining them instead of using their buyers as test subjects in essence. If you look at pre owned zero, you realize just a few years or few thousand miles vastly degrades to the point where your buying something destined for the garbage bin. My fear is how disposable these are when people would keep a dirt bike for 10+ years. I like the possibilities but I'm concerned about the waste that's gonna get created getting there.

    Great video, but it's still lipstick on a pig🤣 ...extremely expensive to try to turn this China bike into a real motorcycle ultimately, it still doesn't have the powertrain, range, suspension, and cockpit size one needs to perform in the manner all the effort and cost is directed toward.

      Totally get your point of view as I'm a huge MX guy. However, once you ride one of these you'll understand it's a very different bike due to its size and weight. It's a play bike and it is insanely fun to ride. Most of the MX guys we know who also have a Surron admit they actually ride the surron more than their MX bike because it's so easy to get out and ride on locally without driving to a track or OHV park. And from that perspective (riding more) it can be money well spent.

      @@BrianLampright913 I got my eMoto before these China bikes were sold on the market. I understand what they are. I have a Class 1 eMTB that I enjoy riding locally. Aside from this bike being excessively expensive for what its capabilities are, the latest problem with these electric motorcycles in more urbanized areas is that too many young punks with no experience are using them on Trails where they don't belong and destroying Trails, as well as crashing into other Trail users. So essentially the concept of riding these illegally, more locally is not a sustainable solution for these small electric motorcycles. I found that it's a better model to have a mountain bike an/or an electric mountain bike and a proper full size motorcycle because it provides all the capabilities of riding trails as well as getting cardio Fitness. The other big problem with these China bikes is they help fund Chinese spy balloons that are getting shot down over the United States and Canada right now🤔
