- There is much to enjoy in this penultimate episode in the series. We discover the importance of Hartlepool during various periods in history not only to the county of Durham but also the North East. A famous resident known to many is revealed and we see some more stunning aeriel views provided by the Hartlepool Marina. Many thanks to the Heugh Battery Museum for their assistance in the production of this film.

Sorry Jon. My husband’s name was Jim and I’m forever getting Jon and Jim confused. He’s been gone now for 22 years, which seems like yesterday. He would have loved your work. Lynn
Thats ok Lynn, I can understand and sorry to hear of your loss. It proves that true love never dies no matter how long ago. Im glad you like my films, they are a great passion to me and its always nice to hear that you like them. Best wishes Jon
I can`t wait to move back down to the headland where i was born and bred a true cod head and monkey hanger.
Hi Billy glad you enjoyed it. Im more of a haddock man myself - not keen on cod. I deliberately left out the monkey story. My programmes always focus on highlighting the area and looking at what is best about it. Last episode coming in a couple of weeks on Seaton Carew. Keep watching best wishes Jon
