The dealership I work at sold the very first Axial-Flow combine back in 1976/77. I had the chance to work on a couple Steiger Quad-Tracs last week as well. Super tough tractors!
Wow very cool. I have a video here on the channel featuring the first Axial Flow sold. I filmed it in 2019 at a farm show cutting soybeans. What dealer sold it?
Im glad to see markers still on there, guidance is great but when your sats go down ans you had a super wet spring a couple seasons back here in Western ky, you go when you can as fast as you can. I know strip till really relies on it, but hey either. A crop or nothing at all sometimes.
Wow what a good video. Its awesome to see it all started to finish on 1 video. I know it'd probably be a bit of a long video but it would be cool to see from start of 1 season or cycle, from wheat to beans to corn and all the planting and strip tilling and spraying and harvesting of each crop. Very well done BTP!!! If there is ever a movie about farming, they best have you as a consultant to make sure all the details about farming and equipment are right. Knowing hollyweird, they would have a combine applying fertilizer and a quad track pulling a brush mower and a strip tiller plating no till lolol. Thanks again man.
The 470 RowTracs on this farm are used for many jobs through the year on this farm. They will do about 1,000 hours of work between corn, wheat and soybean crops.
Isn't the Quadtrac way to big for this planter? I don't know what it's like in America but it seems exaggerated to me, maybe I'm wrong. Great video and greetings from Germany! ✌😁
For the hydraulic and speed the planter runs up to 10 mph it is a good match. This tractor will do around 1,000 hours of work in year not only planting but working on tillage, seeding winter wheat in the fall, side dressing corn and running a great cart during wheat, corn and soybean harvest.

Refreshing to see some red 👍
I like how you collected video through the course of the year to put this together great presentation.
I am working on showing a full year featuring corn, wheat and soybeans. Thank you for watching.
We start planting corn next week down here in georgia

I practice never till. Had the field in hay for 12 years now. Lol! Another great & informative video, Jason. Thanks!

Awsome to see red is still very popular in the states 👍
Most Iowa dairy farmers use CASE IH
Read till im Dead!
*red*
Case IH and IH tractors have a strong following.
100% but "nothing runs like a deere"
Just love the red ones there awesome!!!!
Planting season has begun let’s go! Nice video Jason were close to starting here in Illinois
They are trying to get going here. In the video you can see it’s raining quite a bit. Every time it dries out enough to run it rains again.
Thank you Jason for making these awesome videos love them red tractors God bless you and your family 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Great video. I'm not a farmer, but I enjoy watching and learning about this stuff. And of course the tractors are cool!

I plant corn with a twin row Great Plains YP-1225. I plant in soybean stubble, small grain stubble or sometimes disc work up ground.
Very cool. I like Great Plains.

Would like to see some rice harvest videos this year if that could be possible
I hope so.
16 row Kinze conventional row crop with a John Deere 8410 front wheel assist.
Great planting team.
When they're doing fall tillage, do they offset the Kuhn machine's rows from the rye's rows? Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.
Yes. They use GPS to go right in between
Good question. Yes the seed is on one set of rows and the tillage is done on the non seeded area.
my dad ran a oliver 1655 tractor gas. pulling a john deere 7000 4 row 38 planted 26000 population.
Very cool. Nice planting team. I like Oliver tractors.
It always astonished me to think that enough crops can come out of those fields to pay for that machinery!
They are covering a lot of acres
Nice video 👌😁
What was that guy with the flags doing in the field? Was he doing a plot of the field? Thanks for the video
Yes they were planting some test sections in one part of the field.
Love the Red stuff! Out of curiosity, on the 470 RowTrac, were they 18" wide tracks?
Yes. The 18s fit through the standing corn.
Isn't the Quadtrac way to big for this planter? I don't know what it's like in America but it seems exaggerated to me, maybe I'm wrong.

Nice video BTP! We are just starting field work here in Ohio! Also I just hit 300 subscribers.
Congratulations on 300. 😁👍
👏👏👏👏👏 show
😁👍
How many planters does this farm have? One 16 row planter seems small for those big combines.
They have a Case IH 2140 and Kinze 3660 as well that plant corn and double crop soybeans. Another 470 runs the Kinze and the 380 Magnum runs the 2140.
Could anyone tell me the transport width of the drill on the magnum and how many bushel it’s tank carries ?
I cover the the CNH drill specs in this video ruclips.net/video/_9AC45torwo/видео.html
you think as much as that cost, the side marker arms would work
No need for the markers with GPS. Auto steer controls the tractor
Isn't it he same tractor?(the 470 steiger)
what exactly is the reason behind someone disliking a video like this ?.

@@bigtractorpower what happened song and I do think y'all give me support
tracs are waste of money in USA, you can legaly ride on duals on public roads, in Europe we can't drive on duals ....
Tracks provide less compaction, a smoother ride in the field and faster tillage speeds than tires.
faster tillage speeds? why?
