As a mortician i wish they gave us an actual funeral director career. I would've loved to see that involved since it's a huge part of death!! I note it would've been alot to put in as it's not an easy thing to include (especially as a playable career) but still would've been cool!
Honestly, I feel like I would have liked a mortician and/or funeral director career more than a reaper career. I know a lot of people are excited about the reaper career but I already know I'm not gonna be interested in it at all 🤣

@onza1317 I love Cottage living and I think its one of the best non supernatural packs. I think with any supernatural packs, EA does a better job. Considering how bad Get famous, high school years and couple others are. The only occult that was done dirty, was mermaids.
If you look closely at the body laying on the floor at Grim's headquarters, and you are familiar with old commercials? You will notice that it is fashioned after the Crash Test Dummies from the commercials that were shown in America. It's awesome that someone at Maxis knows about this little trivia and added it to this DLC. Maxis surprises me from time to time. Great job, Maxis. I get a kick and I'll get a kick out of it if I get a chance to play with this. That's hilarious! Major LOL!

Feel like that kid is not Nervous Subject and you should be the one to sort out the real one with the proper lore attached to him. I’d like to see how his genetics turned out and what the trait does (if anything!). Hope this is something you explore too! 😊
Mod tooling creator here! The reason the kid didn’t have Grim in his family tree or the trait is a technical one. Each Sim in a save is unique to that save, even if they’re special NPCs like Father Winter or Grim. When you combine that understanding with the fact that the pack has to properly handle coming into saves that didn’t start with Life and Death, you begin to see the problem. This is the same reason why there’s an implied past between Crumplebottom in Cottage Living and Crinkletop in Horse Ranch, but no actual in-game ties like a divorced relationship bit. Could they have made it work for just new saves? Maybe… but they probably avoid apparent inconsistency as much as possible so as not to confuse players.
Edith feels like a nod to The Ring (Samara? I don't remember). It's kinda crazy how much there is to do in comparison to the past few packs, especially the latest. It seems like so much fun and a lot of replayability. If finances permit it, I might actually, and I can't believe I'm saying this, buy it before it's on sale

Tip: take vitamin C before getting into a plane. The extra boost may help fight the blah. Or if you are able to get your hands on Airborne it does wonders for airplane rides. The CAS piece you think looks like it could be a swimming suit/costume: it actually would look good as a bodysuit worn with a pair of jeans or any other bottoms you like really.

I can’t play with the new pack until this weekend unfortunately 😩 so I’m gonna save watching your video while I play myself but had to like it now! Can’t wait to see what this new pack is all about & get to build w/all the new items 😁
