Your video just popped up and I’m watching you and wow…you have lost weight and you look awesome. I used to watch your videos all the time . The last couple years I’ve been trying to help take care of my husband who 1:02 has stage 4 colon cancer so I’ve missed a lot of videos. I just wanted to tell you how beautiful you look(you were always beautiful). I also love your cute haircut!
Hi Kimmy! I love your videos and have for YEARS, but I was just wondering if you will ever posts vlogs or DITLs again. I haven’t seen one from you in a while and don’t remember you announcing that you won’t be doing those anymore. I’m a SAHM and still love all your current content, but I loved those too. Thanks for all you do!
Kimmy definitely shows us how to get creative in storing. I use my bedroom closet, dresser drawers underneath the bed over the door shoe hanging bags of you think a spots to small trust me it's not. It's all a matter of a little reorganization trust me you can do it 😎
I do not live in a state with case lot sales...but I know my local Aldi will beat my local walmart on 99% of the things I buy routinely. The only negative is sometimes they place limits on items.
When my stores limit and I've more of same store I'll go to two different stores, while out...Or aleast before the sales goes off...Always around limits, especially when well worth it..😁$$$
This isn't meant to be offensive at all to Kimmy but Utah has a high population of LDS. LDS believes in having a food storage of some kind so their stores for the most part will be reflective of that. Now where I live we had one store that did do a small version of a case lot sale but that store is no longer in business but stores in general are reflective on what the general community needs and being in Utah case lot sales are a must
@@corianne2099 that makes perfect sense. This is just like seasonal produce being dirt cheap in states that grow a lot of it. Im in Indiana...we do have a couple of bulk Amish stores for spices and other things...but nothing like case lot sales.
In my area in GA, to my knowledge we don’t have case lot sales. We have so many grocery stores but none that do case lots. We have Kroger, Publix, KJ’s, Aldi, Lidl, Walmart, Target, and Roses plus a Costco and Sams. Wish I my we had case lots!
I’m curious with your stocking up does your Walmart have limited line’s that are not self checkout? The one we go to occasionally is really bad for doing that. It’s hard for elderly and sick people to use self checkout especially with sizable purchases.
I have shifted to buying the stuff from Sam’s club from when I need it to buy it on sale to hold me over when it’s not on sales examples are tide, Heinz ketchup, dog hip and joint chews, press n seal, vitamins. Same with publix bogos buy on sale enough to hold you over to next sale. Aldi/Walmart for the rest of the stuff I need and or never on sale. And I started to coupon again at Walgreens.
Wow, I wish our local stores would do case sales, I have yet to see that happen here in Florida where we live. I always price compare before heading out to shop. Thankfully I've been building our stocked pantry over the last several years. Great video, thanks!
I wish we had case lot sales here where I live. The commissary on base used to have one, but back then, I couldn't afford to buy in bulk and had no where to store it. Being in the military, we just couldn't have a long term storage. Besides, most of their food items were things that wouldn't I buy. Now that we are retired, we actually can afford it better and have some space to store, but no one has case lot sales, not even the commissary. So I just buy when I need it. I'm glad you are able to do that though!
I grew up in a small town, and families would go in together and buy a hundred pounds of beans, rice or potatoes for the best price and divide the items. Example 25, 25, and 50 lbs. They used a bathroom scale. If there was a family member who employed at a processing location, they got better price. Also, some places had seconds because some reason. Wine the corks broke or Labels misplaced, that they sold to employees discounted. If there was a gathering, the guests brought the beer and soda the host had the wine.
No case lot sales in our area. I find some better than grocery store prices at Dollar Tree. Libby brand 20 ounces pineapple $1.25. Also top ramen (teenage house) 5 pack for $1.25. Both cheaper at DT than WinCo. Also as a DT employee many people buy many of the canned goods by the case no reduced price just cheaper for many items. Also the cherry pie filling from DT is amazing you need 2 cans to make a pie and it is still cheaper than 1 can at another store.
Case lot sales are non existent in my area. And I wish they were a thing! Our local military commissary will do "case lot" sidewalk sales, but they aren't the greatest. Hunts is our favorite, we use it as a base and doctor it up based on what we feel like for the day. It was 43 cents a can last time. That was about it. Our WalMart is cheaper than Aldi, which surprised me. I price shop when doing stock ups and have built up a great rotating pantry. Thank you for the tips!
Happy Sunday Kimmie!! Hope you and the family have a great day!! Did you say you were working on a pricing book to help keep track of our go to items? Is it coming out in time for Mother's day??? I'm thinking of it as a Mother's day gift for my kiddos to get for ME!😉😉
But if Macey’s takes credit cards and you can get rewards points, then the canned tomatoes are a better deal than Winco, where you must pay cash or use a debit card and get no rewards! Great video!
I always buy 1 of the Winco brand of items. I once stocked up on olives and we don’t like their brand. Thanks for the heads up on case lot sales! You are awesome!
We dont get case lot sales in our city either. We don’t even get coupons in the paper anymore. I just have to look for sales and even those are far and few between so stocking up has been hard to do since money is so tight right now. Wish we had an Aldi around here
I’ve never seen any shops in the UK do case lots. Even if they did tho I’m not sure if I’d be able to afford it. Great idea tho. I’m glad you buy kidney beans in tins. A friend of mine once got severe food poisoning once because the dried kidney beans that she ate hadn’t been rapidly boiled beforehand.
I can't shop without looking at ingredient label. Unless you are counting pennies, it may be worth the higher cost of better quality food products. Otherwise, it's the same as cheap restaurant food.
Aldi has canned goods for around .50 a can for green beans, corn, and peas. $1 a can and over is ridiculous. What seasonings are good to put in tomato paste to make pasta sauce?
Look up on all recipes a recipe called Italian spaghetti and meatballs. I use the recipe for homemade sauce. Salt pepper garlic basil bay leaf onions and any other vegetables you might like. I add more garlic and salt as needed.
I assume based off her grocery hauls and such, that she's doing low carb, gluten free and reduced sugars/sweets. Maybe she still buys and cooks regular things for the rest of the family, and has her own separate dishes. She looks great!
I would guess she lost her weight by going plant base + no OIL! Once I removed all oil from my diet, within a month I finally lost the extra 12# I had been walking around with for the past 40 years. I made the change to prevent blockages in my arteries ;)
Great comparisons!! Thank you for doing that work for us! But my go-to in this video is YOUR TINY LITTLE FACE!! OMG! I didn't know you had lost so much weight! Do you have a video about how you did it? How did I miss this!!!

I wish case lot sales were available throughout the US! I definitely subscribe to the "one for now, two for later" philosophy.

SUCH great price comparisons!!! Thank you for taking the time to break this down! Time to stock up!!
My problem is lack of storage. Great tips. TFS

I miss your old videos…these days it is only about food storage

Crying in Canadian 😭 such sick deals!!
All of case lots average 15 for a 12pk lol
Adding tomato paste to the hunts sauce helps the flavor too.

We don't have such things here in Central Florida that I know of. Nice to buy certain things in cases.
Thank you for all the deep research to help us save big.
You are looking so good what did you do to get healthier?
I’m curious with your stocking up does your Walmart have limited line’s that are not self checkout? The one we go to occasionally is really bad for doing that. It’s hard for elderly and sick people to use self checkout especially with sizable purchases.
Thank you for the price comparisons…great video…
Glad you liked it!
It used to but I have less than double digit people in my house! BREATHE! Still have the same thrifty habits but not as anxious about it.
Good morning Kimmy! Useful tips as always. Good job 👍🏻😁!!! Enjoy your Sunday. 😉

I am constantly amazed at the different pricing state to state, wether it be grocery stores or thrift stores.
Fabulous tips! Would love to see Your updated pantry tour if possible? Thanks in advance 💞

Thanks for sharing, you always have great ideas, have a Blessed Day.👍❤️🥰
I'm so glad you did this! I am always telling people that case lot sales aren't always a good price. It's always good to price check ✔️.
Absolutely!!
Great tips!
You have to like the taste of those generic brands. We find the majority of them taste off Maybe we're spoiled by name brands. 😂

For those of us in Utah, Smith's is starting their case lot sale today, too. 😉

Yes. I’m approving the final draft this week and it will be for sale in April
Wow, here in my areA of Southeastern Pennsylvania a can of veggies is 97 to 112 a can. Soup is sometimes 1.25

Glad it was helpful!
Winco is worth the drive.

I wish that I lived in a state that had case lot sales.. Aldi seems to be the deal maker for us
Thanks Kimmy ❤
I wish we had case lot sales. We don't so I make the best of the sales we do have. Thanks for the video.
Hello from Salt Lake City. I go to Smith's for the case lot sale
Their prizes were horrible this year.
I’m watching as I put my Kroger caselot items away.
Tips for price comparing without having to drive to a bunch of different stores?
I can't shop without looking at ingredient label. Unless you are counting pennies, it may be worth the higher cost of better quality food products. Otherwise, it's the same as cheap restaurant food.
We don't have case lot sales where I live😢 I sure wish we did!!
You would LOVEEE HEB if you lived in texas, its addictive and everything is made in texas🎉❤😅

Thanks, for sharing. I eat Ketovore. So most of this is not what we would eat. I did wonder if I missed how you loss your weight...
To the best of my knowledge she’s never shared and won’t say specifically what she’s done. Looks awesome though.
I assume based off her grocery hauls and such, that she's doing low carb, gluten free and reduced sugars/sweets. Maybe she still buys and cooks regular things for the rest of the family, and has her own separate dishes. She looks great!

Doesn’t look like there’s a food shortage to me that store has everything you could possibly want
How do you keep all that flour or pasta from getting stale?
Keep it in a plastic storage container air tight
Great comparisons!! Thank you for doing that work for us! But my go-to in this video is YOUR TINY LITTLE FACE!! OMG! I didn't know you had lost so much weight! Do you have a video about how you did it? How did I miss this!!!
I would love to know what you are doing to lose weight. You have changed so much and are still just as beautiful as ever! What’s your secret? 😊
