Boy, I am fortunate we’re heading to Yuma Arizona and I’ll be riding all winter on my CT 70. Out in the desert How lucky am I have a great winter everybody
For next time, headed back....off greasy creek, If you go north on Bear wallow then left on Gatesville, you go past the drag strip, avoid that high spd section of 135, and pop out right at the Dollar General at 45. I'm right in that area, I'll try to catch up for a ride next spring.
Yep, that’s the route we took a couple weeks back, on the group 90 mile ride. There was an event at the drag strip, lots of vehicles. I went all the way to 135 because I actually wanted to rip down that hill and see what the bike had. 🤣
Lake Lemon wasn't too much further but you made a move and lost me. Great to see the covered bridge still stands; you're a very accomplished rider! Thanks
That bike sounds really sweet Mike, I think the Lifan is the perfect conversion. Love that bridge! I bet when the spring group ride comes around next year you will have many more riders and a whole lot more fun!
Looks like it was a day of puddle-jumpin’ and slick-spot avoidance (wet leaves). The bike sounded really good when you wound-out each gear. Thought maybe your hat flapping in the breeze was helping the bike go faster! 🤣 Thanx for taking us all “along” for the ride.
I wish I could have a photo taken at that bridge , I have a 71 SL 70 Aquatic Blue. That is such a great pic Mike. You should get that pic matted & framed my friend
I have a framed pic of my Honda S65, at that bridge, from a couple years ago. The bridge didn’t have that yellow height thingy then, it’s a better pic.
I was always a huge fan of winter/snow. Then, in 2006, I bought property for our business that had a large parking lot. From the first time I had to plow snow on that lot, I dreaded seeing snow. Haha
Lovely view from the top of that hill!
Cool bridge !

We lived in Sedona, AZ during 2013/14. So many great forest service roads and trails.

What an amazing scenic route! Love that old bridge! Thanks for bringing us along.

Thanks for watching Mike.

Looks so chilled out over there, no traffic, perfect bike country.
It really is. So many miles of country roads in my area and each one is a perfect ride for a bike.
Awesome ride

@@PhillipWSampsonSr Thanks! Yes, it’s a fantastic little bike!
Nice video, Mike! Same weather as the 90-mile ride. Great time.
Very similar weather!

@@MiniBikeMike they are called a headache bar ,
We've installed hundreds of those things over the years
This is why I'm not fond of winter

63 mph might be the fastest anyone has gone on an sl70 !
Oh no, there are some out there with 190’s in them. I’d guess they’re 80mph machines.
What would it run factory??
Not really sure. I remember having it 47/48 on the stock engine.
