One great thing about being 60. Saw Randy twice doing his Hendrix tribute when I was a teenager in the 70's. Buddy Miles could have been lead vocalist in any band. Probably was $6. He is amazing.
Im so glad Buddy Miles got the chance to this again and actually inprovise a little further from the original live version with Randy who captures the spirit so beautifully - Heaven
And his vocals are awesomely close to Jimi's!! But that could be due to the possibility that he's simply related to Jimi. And since Jimi is aristocracy it would make perfect sense if Randy also hails from the aristocracy, since all aristocrats are closely related.
Fantastic. Randy is an excellent Jimi on guitar and voice too. And Buddy is so effortlessly musical playing at the end of the pocket on the right spot. Amazing soulful melodious voice too. RIP Buddy. Bassist held his end.

You can't say this music is gone because it's old, it's only old in the younger minds, but underneath the world's melancholy, it still resonates because it's feeling, its soul, and it speaks of a time where music was so creative. I know because I played in rock bands of the time and Jimi was King and even though many didn't understand, I knew, his music his playing would live on forever!
