At one gig in 1980 at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in Hollywood, at the end of the show Randy ran out onto Sunset Blvd while the crowd help-up his guitar cord. There were no 'wireless' guitar connections in those days. People on Sunset Blvd freaked out! Traffic was stopping and everything!

How can you say that Stevie Ray Vaugh was a totally other gitarist that plays also 1 a 2 song of Hendrix but he plays with so many great people. Randy Hanssen is a great performer of Hendrix and also others. And for shure a great gitarist

Early 80's he did the full 'Band of Gypsies' album live at the Kabuki theater in San Francisco with Buddy Miles. We never missed his shows back then!
