Poor baby monkey, this is the truth if he really wants baby monkey to make it with troop he needs to stay away from baby and watch from afar. As long as he is still staying around baby , baby will never want surrogate mom Bonita to take him. He should just try it and give it time. Sitting there with baby all the time will make things that much harder on baby and baby will never accept other monkeys
I agree. It looks like Sovanna is not used to being handled roughly like Bonita has been doing, which is normal for Macaques. I think that is part of the problem s why she is resisting she's not used to that. She's been spoiled. I think Mr. Lin is worried about her getting attacked. At Sovanna's age she needs constant protection..

Love her reaction when the others are around - looks away, closes her eyes - totally ignores them. Best of all though is when Bonita grabs her. Loved it. How many weeks has this been going on? This is like stopping smoking one cigarette a day - it will never happen. Bonita is the only one who knows what to do.
It's going on two months now and it's starting to get a little boring. Everyone is realizing what they are doing and yet they still continue. It's a little shameful. I'm only sticking around for the shitshow that happens when they stop making enough ad revenue on this one that they finally decide to release her and pick a new "abandoned baby" for the show.

One important fact. Mr. Lin is the caregiver of Sovanna. He does not have a YT channel to make any money. He is being videoed with Sovanna IMO Mr. Lin has been kind to Sovanna however his human kindness is NOT doing her any favors, but rather spoiled her and so did Sovanna's caregiver before him who originally got her. Sovanna is not used to being handled roughly like Bonita has been doing, which is normal for Macaques. I think that is part of the problem s why she is resisting she's not used to that. She's been spoiled. I think Mr. Lin is worried about her getting attacked. At Sovanna's age she needs constant protection.. Also IMO Mr. Lin has not been trained on how to integrate a baby monkey into a troop. What he has been doing is bringing her to the female pigtails but turns around and brings her back to Gramma and the kids. He just undid the little progress he made. What WLA would do in this situation from what I've seen; is put her in an big enclosure with very little human contact except to feed her ........ near other monkeys that are in enclosures so they can get used to each other. There are other pets that have been dropped off that they could use ..... the same should be done with them. Once confident they have bonded they can be all put in the same enclosure and then released as a Motley group in the rain forest in Pursat Province where all the Urban Macaques have been released. This takes quite sometime, it doesn't happened over night.

Yes!! I agree completely. Even though he is homeless and living there also, he needs to get away from her. At some point he just needs to “throw her to the wolves”. It will be a rough few days, but she will adjust just like every other pet monkey we’ve seen (Rose, Lipa,etc)
When bonita has baby he needs to go and let them bond, he is going about it the wrong way. I just dont see his way ever working

Forgive me for being thick, naive etc. Why do they always put the monkeys on towels or pieces of material. I've seen it on other monkey channels, they always straightening them and faffing about making sure the monkey sits there ?🤔
@@debradickson7816 this is how the people train their monkey to sit there or sleep on that towel . "Don't move ". Monkey kako, the owner train this way for months later the monkeys recognize the hand gesture by tapping the floor at this spot to get kako attention sit here or sleep here.

Ann Gero do you want Sovana to die? Because that is what will happen! Sovana was raised as a human child, these are the first monkeys she has ever seen. She does not know she is a monkey. She has no idea how to forage, what to eat, and what is poison, what is dangerous: snake or car. She doesn't know how to be a monkey, she never had a monkey mother that she remembers, so she doesn't realize Bonita is acting as her mother would. She will never be able to live in the park.
Marva Caughey I agree with most of what you said. Recently, Lin fed Sovana in front of a mirror and let her get used to her reflection. I think she realised she was a monkey then, cuz she’s been (slightly) more receptive of Rolex. Lin is trying to acclimate her to the monkeys to eventually live with them
@@FuryanRogue Sovana will never be able to live in the park and they have no intention of leaving her there alone unprotected. She is making money for them, Both Mr. Lin and Navy Tube. She was raised as a human child, her birth mother would have taught her how to survive: how to forge, what to eat and what is poisonous, what is a predator, how to stay warm, how to get out of the rain. Sovana has no survival skills she would die within a few days, probably run over by a car. They are not going to leave her alone in the park, they are always going to be close enough to protect her. There are wild dogs in the park, she would have no fear of them and run right up to them and be killed, just like Rose but Rose was lucky, her wounds healed and she survived.

I get everyone, I highly recommend watching Abu monkey, the lady is truthful, she does not stage stuff and she does not use ir the advantage of her 3 monkeys. Monkey abu goes outside with her alot to help her in the fields she has behind her home. She is a very good monkey owner. She us the best. It is obvious Savana is not going to go on her own. I totally understand why they are trying to prolong her adaption into the monkey troop.. They want the clicks. But imagine a monkey the size of Bonita acting towards humans the way Savana does..
It may be true that the other monkeys will kill her before she learns the rules of monkey society, but I bet her best chance of survival is with other monkeys. When she gets the size of Bonita and begs for food or starts going through people belongings and scaring the tourists away, her chance of survival will dwindle to 0.
